Sonic Payday - Coastline Credit - Sonic Payday Ripoff refuses to accept payment besides Western Union, Threats! New Orleans Texas

I used Sonic Payday to make a quick loan. I had made a loan through them before, and they were paid timely. Due to unforeseen events, on the last loan, their draft was NSF. However, I called beforehand to make them aware that funds would not be available, but they drafted NSF, causing a ridiculous domino effect. I even asked if I could pay half.

I was told NO. I received a call from a "Sonny" representing Sonic. I was told that I had to pay the amount in a total of 578.00, anything less than the full amount was unacceptable. I asked for a "Physical Address", where I could send the payment via "certified mail". I was told they only accepted "Western Union."

I sent an email requesting a "physical address", so that I could pay the loan. I don't understand what the problem could be. This morning, Sonny, the Sonic/Coastline representative. Repeatly called me here at work for failure to pay via Western Union. He tried to get information from the receptionist, but she would not give any out. On my voicemail here at work, he left me with a threatening message, informed me that my employer would be served with papers on tomorrow.

He went on further to tell me I better read the paperwork, they can do whatever they wish. Again, I have emailed Sonic and asked for an address. I was very disappointed in how I was treated. Instead, they wanted to offer to renew the loan, 30 minutes later, if I paid via Western Union. I emphatically stated that I was not interested in another loan. I'm sure I'll either get papers served on my job tomorrow for being 2 weeks late with a payday loan or more harrassing calls. Does anyone know a lawyer I can contact? My advice is if you get in a bind, DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES.
