My lap top and ipad were stolen out of my room during my visit. The items were concealed in my suitcase.
The management was completely uncooperative and apathetic. They claimed that this has
never happened before, and referred to this as a run-of-the-mill "lost and found" incident.
The GM did not call me or apologize. I had to reach out to them to inquire into the process of making a claim with their insurance company.
I was not compensated whatsoever for my terrible experience.
I cannot believe the way I have been treated. Clearly, customer service is not high on their list.
I will never stay here again, nor recommend that any of my family or friends, or even STRANGERS stay here.
I am utterly disgusted by this entire ordeal.

A thorough investigation was executed over a two week period, alongside additional outside surveillance services that were brought in to assist and no evidence was found indicating thefts of the items in question were stolen. Despite the lack of evidence being found, the General Manager did personally reach out and provide ample compensation and although every occasion is not guaranteed to be without hiccups, we strive to provide the utmost customer care to our guests and extend ourselves to great lengths in order to ensure the highest degree of excellence is being provided to every one of our valued guests. The resort understands the severity of this incident and South Coast Winery Resort & Spa takes every precaution necessary to ensure our guests personal safety and security is priority at all times with 24 hour surveillance throughout the resort and security detail on property.
