On 1/24/09 my wife, daughter and I pulled into Southwest Kia. We parked our car in front of the sales office. The salesperson pulled up a vehicle we were interested in behind our car. We took a look at and after asking the price several times (never getting an answer) we said thanks but we are leaving now. But we couldn't!
We were literally blocked in. His "boss" came out I had to tell them at least a dozen times to move the car so I could leave and they just did not. I told them my daughter was 8 months pregnant and we really need to go now and to move the car. He did not move it
They wanted me to come in and "negotiate" a price. I told them to move the vehicle that was blocking me in or I'd call 911. The did not budge. I called 911 reported a hostage situation. They finally moved the car.
I have hear of high pressure sales but holding a person hostage? This place is a ripoff. I just got off the phone with his boss. We'll see if he is still working there Monday!
Some people were inside the dealership......were they hostages also? If they bought from them they are victims.
