Spee-Dee Delivery Service Inc. Delivery driver hit our mailbox with Spee-Dee Delivery vehicle - Company refuses to replace our mailbox. St. Cloud Minnesota
*Consumer Comment: Some advice to turn that frown upside down.
A driver for Spee-Dee Delivery Service recently (January 2014), hit our mailbox and broke it. The driver then drove off.
It was too late to reach anyone at their office that day. So, I called the next day. I spoke to a male "supervisor." In fact, he told me that only he and another woman in their office were "supervisors." I told the man that one of his drivers hit, and broke, our mailbox. This "supervisor" told me he would "look into it," and call me back.
Two weeks went by. The "supervisor" did not have the common courtesy to call me back. So, I called back. An unidentified woman answered the Spee-Dee Delivery Service telephone. I told her why I was calling. She told me, "Oh, I heard something around here about that, but I also heard that they said they looked at the vehicle and could not find any damage on it. And, they said they were not going to cover it." I asked, "Who is they?" She would not answer. [continued below]....
I managed to find out who Spee-Dee Delivery's insurance company was. I called them. I spoke to an extremely rude, and hateful woman that said, "We will not honor your claim. We will not reimburse you!" I asked, "Why not?" The hateful insurance agent replied, "We don't have to tell you why." Knowing that I was speaking to an uneducated slug, I simply hung-up the phone.
Today, January 30, 2014, I telephoned Spee-Dee Delivery Service, Inc., in St. Cloud, Minnesota, again. This time I got the "customer service manager." At first, I thought that I was speaking to a man of respect. Later, when this same man called me back, he said that "Beverly," said this issue was already denied. When I tried to get this "customer service manager" to allow me to speak with "Beverly," he simply would not transfer my call. Then, he became very abusive to me on the phone, and refused to even tell me who their insurance company was! Curious, I asked, "Why are you treating me so rudely all of a sudden?" He would not respond. Again, as I alluded to previously, I realized I was speaking to another disconcerned slug at a dishonorable "company," and I hung-up the phone.
We are forced to purchase another country-size mailbox, approximately $50.00 at our expense, even though Spee-Dee Delivery Service broke it.
Spee-Dee Delivery Service, Inc., St. Cloud, Minnesota, can damage your property, and claim that there is no "evidence" and get away with damaging your property.
Spee-Dee Delivery Service, Inc., does not have enough honor to even have their required insurance company pay for the damage they did to our property.
When I find out who the hateful insurance company agent is for Spee-Dee Delivery Service, Inc., I will write another RipOff report and reference this complaint.
