Sphynx Express- Krystal Knuth sold multiple litters of kittens dying from FIP. Macomb, Illinois

I think about this report everyday and how much it has hurt. Im sure a lot of people have read this and I just want to prove that I do not do shady business. Because there has been doubt put out here making people believe that my sphynx could have FIP Im now offering a one year FIP health Guarantee from date of adoption. Im hoping that this shows that Im not trying to rip anybody off. I can not prevent everything that may go wrong but I WILL make it right if something does.

I'm the person who did the original posting. At the time I wrote this post I was pretty angry and upset. So, I lashed out the only way I could. I really felt helpless. I have since come to realize that I regret what I said. I wish that it could be deleted but it does not work that way. What is done is done, but I would like to say- I don't know of multiple litters dying from FIP. All I know is that I had my little guy put down due to what my vet had told me. I did not have an autopsy performed so it has not been confirmed. I also never saw any court documents so I'm unsure as to why she was ever in court.Krystal did offer me another sphynx and has recently informed me that the offer is still available. My deepest apology goes out to Krystal Knuth.

I am writing this statement because I was browsing through and came upon a familiar name and website...I was taken back when I started reading..I have bought 3 Sphynx kittens from this breeder..When I first was interested, this breeder sent me care information on these kittens as I requested.I stated that I did not kno much about this breed of cat.Krystal made sure I was educated on how to take care of this breed.she gave me a list of several resources so I could do my homework.I bought my first kitten from her two years ago.In her contract it states about the FIP and of course I did my researh on this disease and unfortunately it is not something that you know these cats have until they have dies from it, and then an autopsy has to be preformed.It is not in anyones control if a kitten has this,and it is not from animal abuse! That is like saying that a human that dies from cancer because they are being abused.If this person had did her research she would have known this before making such an horrible remark.Neeedless to say I was referred to Krystal from two of my friends who has both bought not one but multiple cats from her cattery.I was so satisfied with my experience with Krystal as a breeder that I just last year and purchased 2 more kittens from her.I have went on and referred her to some of my friends.I have been to her cattery on both occasions to pick up my beloved kittens and was very satisfied with her cattery conditions.These cats are like family to her.She doesnt keep them locked up,they have free roam of her cattery and they all are well groomed.Her cats are very happy and loved.There is no abuse!Krystal has always been so pleasant with me and still to this day if I have question I contact her and she has always responded to me with the answer to any personal issue I have had..such as when I bought two more kittens how should I introduce them with my pre existing cat at home..She worked with me and within a week of doing what she suggested my cats are all one be happy family!!So I would discard the above statement and contact her yourself and actually get know her and visit her cattery and you will be very pleased! I know I was and still am!

I have NOT had any kitten (that I know of ) pass from having FIP. The person who wrote this is being untruthful and it is unfair. I tried to make things right with her and all she wanted was her money back. I requested something from her vet stating why they felt the need to put said kitten under and she would not send me anything. I have a contract that she sighed stating that I do NOT give refunds and I do offer a health guarantee and I honor that 100%. Also said person had also told me that she had been in contact with other people that have bought sphynx from me that had FIP. All I can say is that after she made this statement to me I contacted everybody that had ever bought a sphynx from me to check on the health of there cat/kitten and not one of them said that the kitten died from FIP or have died at all in that matter. I received all positive replays. Also the only way one can be certain that an animal has FIP is by an autopsy and I was denied that. FIP can be contracted at any time and from any where. All I wanted was something from her vet stating why they felt the need to put said kitten down. I'm not in this to rip people off. I work hard for my money and Im sure everybody else does as well. Yes I have court records, over child support, and that is the only thing I have ever been to court for. So I find it very unfair that anybody can go on here and wright anything they want about a business without it being checked out before being posted. But I also understand that the public has the right and should know about those who are shady, but sometimes people like me get hurt in it. So if you read this article and have any questions about it please ask me, I will talk and I will also put in your contract that if you by a sphynx from me and if it gets FIP I will refund your money with an autopsy of said kitten. This is why everybody should read the contract before sighing it. Thank you!!!!
