I bought an expensive coffee maker for the office, while I was placing my order, this Privilege Pass comes up on the screen as if it was part of the order info required, so I filled it out, to find I have been charged $14.95 per month, which was 3 months ago..........so I would like a refund of $44.95 which I have paid for nothing in return. This makes me furious as that is almost half of what the coffee maker cost. I expected more from a well known company like SPIEGEL. I called (877-564-8534) to cancell my membership (as they call it) and the recording spat out the conformation # out so fast, I barley had time to write it down......so have pen and a piece of paper that won't slide ready.

When you want to purchase something on the internet and you end up unknowingly buying many other items or memberships. Then some idiot employee with GREAT customer service says it's your fault and you cannot read.
"You clicked on it!" I don't think so. More like you didn't unclick it. You are set up to enroll into things simply by doing nothing. Sometimes you pay the highest shipping if you don't change the default shipping. These dirty little tricks are all over these web pages.
Keep writing these complaints and include the Spiegel name, that should persuade them to get rid of the parasites that feed off other websites.
