The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Don Edwards during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases towards SplashPadsUSA.

Splash Pads USA builds splash pads nationwide for both residential and commercial properties. A splash pad is an interactive surfaces that propels water. Don Edwards stated the following about his company, "we are a turnkey service with people that have a HOAs, apartment complexes, RV parks, day cares, etc. We install and manufacture all of our own products. We service all throughout the United States of America."

Leads for Splash Pads USA are primarily obtain through referrals from satisfied customers, as well as their high SEO ranking. Once a potential customer has expressed interest in Splash Pads USA, "we provide them with a rendering service. We then give them a price on the product and if they agree with the price we go from there."



CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – SPLASHPADSUSA

During the onsite interview Mr. Edwards was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. He expressed that his company rarely experiences complaints due to their high level of customer service and product quality, "it is very uncommon to get any complaints on faulty workmanship because our products are wonderful." However he did express that occasionally clients will call because the product installment is late. When an issue like this arises, "we will give them money off or give them something for free. Give them extra coatings on the splash pad. Something within reason so people are satisfied."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Edwards expressed that one of the comments claims that Splash Pads USA black mails, steals, commits fraud, and does not pay employees, "we have never had any complaints nor have we committed extortion or blackmail. It does not make any sense on how this can happen in the company business of selling splash pads." Mr. Edwards stated the following about the additional complaints, "the second complaint is a true complaint from somebody that we borrowed a piece of equipment from, a competitor, to try to better the materials. The contact stated that we were a week late and spoke to the competitor, who bad raps us all the time anyway, we believe that the competitor is the one who filed one of these complaints because we do not know who they are. The third complaint this a name that we have never heard of and we have never done a job in South Jordan, Utah. We don't know who that is what we would consider that a plant also." To further assure future and current clients Splash Pads USA is accredited and has an A rating with the Better Business Bureau. Additionally they, "have several five-star reviews on this site. We have a factory and location that can be visited at any time. We have many reviews from past customers."

When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to make things right with the consumer per the request of Ripoff Report, Mr. Edwards stated, "we've become a member of your consumer advocacy program. We would now be able to address any problems quickly. We have not received any emails or telephone calls about any problems on our end."

STATEMENT FROM SPLASHPADSUSA:


We suspect that this report was generated by our competitor. We do not know to what project it might refer and therefore are even more suspicious that it was prompted and/or fabricated by our competitor. We do not know how to address it since we do not know what (if any) customer it belongs to. Also, how can anyone commit fraud by installing a splash pad?? This is so false, ridiculous and inflammatory. There is not way to commit fraud or extortion by selling a splash pad. This is so obviously a FAKE and trumped up report to only create a negative effect.. This also why we believe this to be likely submitted and/or prompted by a competitor.

Don from Splash Pads USA did our Splash Pad in our yard and did not finish the project. He cut corners and we paid him $20,000. Turns out his employees were coming to us to collect their pay so he didn't pay his employees and told them we would. We did our research and neither himself or his company are licensed contractors in Utah to perform this type of work like he said he was so he lied to us as well.

Completely FALSE and MALICIOUS Allegations!

SplashpadsUSA is a reputable and legitimate business which is licensed and fully insured.  Our license is held in the state of Utah as a DBA #373653-5501.  Our insurance policy is held under Acuity Insurance, policy #X76287.  

Don Edwards is only a General Manager of this company. He has an incredible work ethic and is a hard-working individual who has exceptional talent and experience in landscape design and does not deserve this kind of unfair bad press.  He has won many awards in this field and is well-respected in the industry.

We would hope that Rip Off Report Journal would want to post only legitimate complaints and not allow defamatory or libelous reporting.  This complaint is blatantly defamatory, libelous and entirely full of lies.  Words such as "scam", "fraud", and "extortion" are extreme and must be substantiated as they imply criminal actions.  The words scam and fraud mean deception and theft.  By this complainant’s own admission, there was no theft; and obviously, if this complaint were true or held any merit at all we would have been sued in a court of law.  Whoever has posted this should show their face and quit being a coward and hiding behind internet “free speech”.  We can go to court, and we are willing to do so.  We have nothing to hide.   Your words are merely inflammatory and carry only malicious intent.  SplashpadsUSA and Don Edwards operate a legitimate business that provides a legitimate, tangible quality product.  We have never "scammed" anyone.  If anything, we go the extra mile for our customers because our work and our customers are important to us.

It is also hard to believe that we could provide a quality product on an ongoing basis if we didn't pay our employees.  Our laborers and administrative staff are paid through payroll services and we are compliant through all state and federal agencies regarding labor regulations.

We take pride in our work and the quality of our products.  If there are problems, we address them and we never leave a job unfinished.  

In summary, we know that this complaint is defamatory, slanderous, false and entirely fabricated - and we can prove it.  The damage from these lies has been quite significant to our company which is extremely unfair for a hard-working honest company and its employees.  Again, if this complaint were true and held any merit at all, then we would have been sued.  You have to wonder what the malicious motivations were behind such an "extreme" and "crazy" post; and yet this accuser has been able to hide behind internet "free speech". Nonetheless, if we find out who has posted this "complaint", be it a competitor or other, we intend to take appropriate legal action.
