STCU Spokane Teachers Credit Union Spokane Washington. In 2014 financed a vehicle for me. I have kept full coverage insurance in place since the purchase for 2 years. In October 2015 STCU placed a forced insurance policy against my title for $12,000 USD. The insurance I have is $500 per year. In November when I called and complained they lowered the charge to almost $3000.
I have since turned them into BBB, OIC, Consumer Protection claiming fraud on their part. They are being investigated and rightly so; it is illegal to place insurance on a vehicle that is already insured.
Since October they have racked up nearly $20,000.00 in false charges against my vehicle. Please do yourself a favor and stear clear of these beligerant fraud merchants.

#1 UPDATE Employee
Premiums were addressed once correct paperwork was filed.
AUTHOR: STCU - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, December 24, 2015
First, we would like to reiterate our apologies for the frustration with the situation, and thank you for taking the time to let us know.
It sounds like most of the correct paperwork from your insurance agency has been both received and verified. You should have received a follow-up call from our Director of Lending yesterday, confirming that the forced insurance premiums have been fully addressed, now that we are able to confirm insurance on the correct RV.
We hope that you will continue to reach out to us with any questions or concerns, and welcome any additional feedback. Please feel free to reach out to us any time at onlinemedia@stcu.org.
