Sports fan mart is a fraud! I am so upset because I spent a long time searching for a Yankee futon cover and came across their website. I was happy to have discovered them until I realized I was not going to get the item and they were going to take my money. 

I recently bought a home so I was on a buying spree and purchased from many other websites. At this time I received all of their emails telling me when shipping would be and even some items that shipped out immediately. It was then that I realized I did not hear from sports fan mart. I placed the order on 7/27/12 and started to contact the company on Aug 2nd 2012. I also would like to mention that after realizing I needed to call them to find out where my item was there was not a contact number only an email address. I then googled them to try to figure out how I can contact them and came across a number. That number is only a fax and it also prompts you to leave a message if you'd like which I did with no call back! 

After that attempt I decided to contact the company through the only source which was the email. I copied my order for the company so that they could see all my order information so confusion would be ruled out. I asked them when my item would be shipped as they had already taken the money out of my account. I received a response to my surprise as the other rip off report person said they had gotten no response. I was happy about because as I said earlier the item was hard to find and I had hopes this meant the company was real. The response then routed me back to believing the company was in fact fake! I received a response from a "JJ" that was not very well written and he stated that they did not take the funds out and the only way they would have would be if the item had shipped! He then said I can obtain my statement from my bank to see that the funds did not come out. HELLO! its 2012! Of course I already seen my statement online and seen that you have taken the money out. I then copied the part of my bank statement showing that they did indeed take the money out. Again JJ replies saying, " we do apologize we have to rack down everything on this order. It looks like the funds have come out but we don't see the on our statement. Anyways, we do apologize but check on this item if not a refund will be issued. We do apologize and will try to get this straightened out. Again, we apologize for our inconvenience . Thank you. JJ

Sounds like a nice email right? Well today is Aug 8th 2012 and I have gone back and forth with them. They have given empty promises of refunds and shipment dates all of which have not happened. I have continued to contact but I do not get any response at all. I am really sad because the item was a gift to my husband for his man cave but I am also thankful for ripoff report so that I can now warn other people about this company.
