I left my car at Springfield Acura on Friday August 12 to get some warranty work done. I received a call on Monday the 15th telling me that my headlights had been stolen while the car was in their possession and that they're sorry. I asked them if they were going to pay and they said no because they have a waiver in the fine print of their work order saying they won't be responsible for what happens on their property. They were kind enough to offer to fix it at their body shop, but I still had to pay for the repair 100%. Final bill (at a different body shop of course) came to $5,300. The G.M. of Springfield Acura could care less that it happened to me. Springfield Acura treats their customers like total garbage. They don't care.
Don't go there if you want your car to be the same when you pick it up as when you dropped it off. They didn't care it happened to me and they won't care if it happens to you.

I don't think they can legally claim that they are not responsible, (except for items left IN the car). In any case, your insurance will go after them. The dealer DOES have insurance for this as well, so let the insurance companies fight it out. $5300.00 for headlights? d**n.. I just put 2 brand new headlights on my Studebaker for $8.00 lol.
That's why I got rid of my 2004 TL. That and the price of premium!
