Sprint PCS tried to:

Steal a rebate from me - $150
Steal $50 from me
Steal $300 from me for early termination
And they tried to steal $10 + $30 for roaming

The first offense was for a rebate. I completed the form which asked for all phone numbers on the account. I listed mine and my son's phone numbers. At the bottom of the form were check boxes for several rebates. I checked Only the one that applied, that I was entitled to.

There was also a place to write in the dollar amount and I wrote in "$150". After the time passed for the rebate to arrive I called and said it was overdue. They told me it was denied. I asked why. They told me I tried to get too many rebates, more than I was entitled to. That was a lie. They eventually sent the rebate. They wasted hours of my time.

Then, when my Nokia phone broke they told me it was no longer under warranty and I would have to send it back to Japan. I balked. It had a warranty that was still in effect and they were supposed to fix or replace it. They said they sent notices saying they would no longer service Nokia. I told them "You can NOT change the rules in the middle of the game just because you notify me." They finally said they would give me a $50 credit to get it repaired. I took the phone in and they replaced it. Got home and saw online that they had credited my account $50. The next day though that credit mysteriously disappeared. I had to spend hours calling and complaining. Eventually I got the credit back.

I signed up for two months of no roaming fees by paying $5 each month. They charged me the $10. They also charged me over $30 in roaming during that time period. Again, hours on the phone getting the matter cleared up. They admitted it was wrong but told me I shouldn't be upset that they tried to steal all this money from me (this and the offenses above) because they were three different "mistakes". I told them that if I rob a man in person of his wallet one time, burglarize his car another time, and then burglarize his house, the judge is not likely going to be lenient because I stole from him three *different* ways.

I finally decided to quit Sprint and it was a month and a half before my contract was over but I called and checked if they would just let me out since I was Absolutely going to cancel my service as soon as the contract expired. The rep said he would let me out of the contract without early termination fees. I had him repeat that. I even asked a third time and he reiterated that there would be NO early termination fees. Naturally, the bill came and they charged me $300 for early termination. I called, spent hours on the phone once more and finally got that matter cleared up.

Thank GOD Sprint is losing customers by the millions and counting. They're on a downward spiral and I hope they go down hard and fast before they hurt to many more people. Their service was lousy and their numerous attempts to steal my hard earned money, over $500 of it, was nothing less than criminal and unconscionable!

Good Riddance Sprint!
