Ordered new service with 2 plans with Sprint on 12/6/10 online. Received and activated phones on 12/7/10. Sprint rep called to make sure activation went smoothly and advised I had until 1/7/11 to cancel with no early termination fee.

Had tons of trouble with the 2nd line. Went to the local Sprint store where they updated the phone w/the latest software twice. Was told by the girl there that I had until 1/7/11 to cancel the service with no early termination fee. Phone continued to have problems (no service, shutting off, not receiving texts until days later) so they referred me to a corporate Sprint location.

Went to the corporate location where they had to order a new phone. We picked up the new phone on 1/5/11. That phone was doing the exact same thing as the first. Called Sprint on 1/7/11 and was told I had to bring the new phone back to Sprint to get another replacement and that I had to do it today (1/7) because today was the 30th day.

Due to severe weather I was not able to get to Sprint and I had a hard time believing 2 phones were no good so I cancelled. After I cancelled I confirmed that today was day 30 and an early termination fee would not apply. 20 minutes later i get a call and they tell me that 1/6/11 was the 30th day and the fee would apply.

I then spoke to an unbelievably rude supervisor who said it was my fault that I missed the 30th day which was the 6th because I purchased the phones on the 6th and the 30 days start from purchase not activation and I had to pay the fee. I then asked to speak to a manager.

While holding for a manager I found the policy online that states its 30 days from activation not purchase. So now the story changes. The manager says ok yes it is from activation and that was 1/5!!! So now I have been given 3 different dates. He says since no one documented that they told me the 7th he will not waive the fees. How is the fact that no one did their job correctly my fault?? Yes I realize i agreed to the contract which says 30 days but i was told by 3 seperate Sprint employees on 3 different occasions that I had until the 7th so I didnt bother to count out 30 days.

They have no additional levels to complain to, no appeal process. Nothing. Thats it. I have to pay $400 or get sent to collections. The service was horrible. They have documentation that I had trouble with the phone and its replacement and end of story they dont care I owe the money.
