In July 2005 my wife purchased a Nokia 6016i phone from the above store.

Last week this phone stoped working from our home, where it had always worked for the last four monts.

When my wife as for a new phone, as instructed by the phone rep of Sprint, This store at first refused to honor the warranty which this phone was still under.

Their reason was that there was nothing realy wrong with the phone as it was a cheap phone and that is why it no longer worked.

If this Nokia 6016i is such a cheap phone why is this Print store selling them for $149.99. Also, since, (in their own words), this is such a cheap phone), why did the saleman fail to inform my wife of this before the purchase.

This seems to be typical Sprint. My husband and I purchased a phone from Sprint. At that time we lived way out in the country. When we purchased the phone we were told that it would work at our house. Yes, it did work ar our house, only if you stood in one certain spot in the yard!! Then, like you, we started having trouble with our phone not working properly. We called a phone rep and told them about the problem and they said to take the phone to a Sprint store, which required a 50 mile drive, and it would be replaced; as per the phone warrantee. We were told the same story as you. "There is nothing really wrong with the phone, it's just a cheap phone." This seems to be Sprint's policy. They won't fix or replace your phone, just try to get you to upgrade. I have since cancelled our Sprint service and I will NEVER do business with them again!!
