Sprint PCS Not Equal in Service but Cost The Same Barboursville, West Virginia

Sprint has advertised that their wireless data-card service is 5 times faster than their competitor. I suppose to keep their statement legal, they have this service somewhere but never where I travel. Buyer beware!

I pay the same monthly fee in West Virginia for Sprint's data card service as other customers in different states. Throughout this state their service is slightly faster than dial-up, commonly referred to as 1X. Other service areas have DSL type speed for the same money.

Why?
Why don't you drop Sprint, you may be asking? There is a 2 year contract, I respond. Please be advised that when I signed the contract it was based on Sprint's sales false representation. I am beginning to believe they are operating illegally. I have been taught that the Devil presents himself in many beautiful faces, and that he/she will fool you.

Within a 3 min. conversation with 2 different salespersons and one one store manager I got three different reports of future services changes within my area. OK, I understand Sprint has a thirty day return policy but again their representatives continued with their false statements causing me to keep their service. Yeah, I ask every month, when I pay the bill, and get the same story, I hear sprint is improving service next quarter. Right, I should have realized only thing they know at that company level is you can get $50. if you refer your friends.

I just wrote a review on Sprint's customer review site and never saw it posted. Wonder why. I attempted to write another review but Sprint claimed that I already submitted one and their policy is only one per customer.
Bottom-line, if Sprint can determine if you are in a roaming site then they should be able to determine if you are in a faster data card site and charge accordingly. I think $70 per month for slightly faster than dial-up is toooo expensive. If customers don't complain then Sprint will keep on with their unfair business practices.
