My husband has a cellphone through sprint and we have had nothing but problems from day 1. The cellphone does not want to take a charge. If we charge it all night it still does not matter because when you get on it after about one hour it's dead. We took it to a sprint store to be checked by a technician. We had to leave it there for over 3 hours. We come back to get it and the lady says "it passed all the test and there is nothing wrong with the phone."

Ok if there is nothing wrong with the phone then why will it not hold a charge? I said "well can't the phone be replaced or something because it is still under manufacturers warranty and also we pay insurance on it." She said "yall have voided your warranty because there is excessive damage to the phone and it's not in brand new condition." My husband keeps it in his pocket at work with his keys and he does roofing work but it has not been damaged or thrown around or anything like that. Just because it had some scratches on it they said we voided our warranty and I think that's crazy. Most people's phones have some kind of scratches on it. You can't always keep it looking like it came out the box. She said if I wanted another phone (which would be a refurbished phone) I would have to pay $50.00.

I don't feel like I should have to pay $50.00 for a (USED) phone or pay $50.00 for that matter at all for something that is there fault from the beginning. There was a gentleman in there the same time as me complaining about the same phone doing the same thing mine was. I got tired of arguing the fact so I left. I called a supervisor and they were no better at handling the situation. They said there was nothing they could do about it. I also was overcharged on my bill because when we switched plans the first 2 months were suppose to be $25.00 and $50.00 a month thereafter. Well, I got one credit but not the other and they argued with me and argued with me saying they gave it to me.

I spoke with someone also named Cindy that works there and she was really, really rude. I regret now that my husband ever signed a 2 year contract with these people. Something really needs to be done about the way these people treat there customers and about these defective cellphones and faulty charges. You can't get any good service in the store itself, they act rude and don't acknowledge you, and you can't get any good service on the phone either so what are we to do? I advise anyone if they are thinking about getting a cellphone through sprint think twice before you do.
