St Johns Mercy Medical Hospital My Baby Deserved to Live St Louis Missouri

Well i wish to this day that i would have never intrusted me or my daughters life in the hands of those doctors at that hopital.She might have still been alive.

This is still pretty hard for me and still haunts me to very day. I was about three months pregnant when i was told that i would not be able to return to work until after i delivered my little girl, due to diabetes, very high blood pressure and edema.

The doctor had me preparing for the long six month stay by putting me on short term disability with my job and getting some one too care for my son and the whole nine yards. Well i guess after finding out that my insurance would not pay the sent me home after week, with a blood pressure of 220s over 100s and told me that i would be fine. Well two days later my baby died. We buried her nov,4 2004.

When i the doctor who had released me announced her to be dead he immediately wanted to find out why she had passed, which wasnt a mystery to me any blind man could see and was later confirmed in the autopsy report that the hospital did not want to give me my regular doctor had to get it from the.

he tried to say that i was on drugs which i have never done drugs not even marajuana or drinking as i staed before i am diabetic and high blood pressure so i get regular blood drawn at doctor visits. they even went as far as to call the division of family services on me to get my son tooken away from me. but out side lab test proved that their was no drugs in my system and the social worker from the hospital even called and apologized for what the hospital had done. (huh) But now this is in my cahrt and after this whole ordeal one day i would like to adopt or be a foster mother since i cant have anymore children of my own, because i was traumatized so bad thati got my tubes tied,because i never wanted to go through this again.

But this is in my record and may come back to haunt me one day even though family services said they found no grounds for the accustions.I still hurt over this i dont know what to do i cant find a lawyer that will take my case and i feel that nobody should ever have to go through anything like this. I believe thet the doctor did something to me and i cant prove it. a guy that came into my room before they ran any test put something in my arm saying that it was to numb my arm for to draw my blood, but as i staed before i am diabetic since i was thirteen years old and i have never had my arm numbed to get blood drawn. So i do pray that something could be done because i feel that my daughter can not rest in piece. And that that doctor should not be practicing medicine. I feel afraid and sorry for other patients under their care.
