STA Check Processing, Depew, New York Beware, sketch company New York New York

I received a phone call early in Dec 2016 from this company saying that I owed money from a few years ago for a payday loans and that I owed $700.  I told them it must've been fraud because I never got a payday loan and that my some of my checks were stolen, but she told me that couldn't happen becuase the person taking the loan would have to show employer pay stubs.  Well... that's impossible since I'm self employed and have been for 15 years.  So she quickly hung up the phone.  Then a couple of weeks later I get a call saying that I have a credit card that needs to be paid and that they would settle for $2000 or they would process paperwork to take me to court.  I thought okay, maybe that's possible so I set up $500 payments to be taken from my debit/MC.  When they took the first installment something didn't seem right so I called the bank to get more information, which there wasn't except for this STA check processing, Depew, NY.  When I looked for them online I saw this ripoff report and closed the card so they couldn't take any more money.  They called when they tried to take more money and told me they were going to process paperwork to take me to court.  Still waiting....  When I thought about it more, the girl on the phone sounded a lot like the one telling me I took out a payday loan!   I guess they figured they were going to get money out of me one way or another.   Unbelievable!!!  If I get any other calls saying I owe them money they're going to have to talk to my lawyer!!
