Stageline Express Stageline My time at Stageline Coopersville MICHIGAN

I had my own truck about 5 years ago but lost it when the engine blew and I didn’t have the money to repair it. Worked in the oil field in ND hauling water but that slowed down. Came to Stageline in May of 2016 and ran as a company driver until December of 2016. Then got into a lease purchase with a  new KW T-680 with a PACCAR engine. I had heard that the first ones were garbage But were getting better.

Only reason I took this one was an extended warranty on the motor. Takes some getting used to but I get 8.5 MPG at 65 MPH And 7.6 at 75. I didn’t believe I would but it’s there. Power is OK, not like a Cat though. I get plenty of miles right now, about 3450 a week, but I run hard and have been doing this awhile. Took me some time to get used to ELD from paper and it’s still a pain in the a*s every day.

These Guys don’t run east which is a big reason I came here. Only had a coupe of bitches with them. One was that they didn’t pay tolls, which they do now and is only a problem in OK. The other is wait time at grocery warehouses which is just lost time to me. These guys have drop trailers at Walmart now so I’m in and out of their in 15 minutes which is better.

Never been to a Walmart DC with a clean drivers bathroom I would use, thanks to Hunt and Swift drivers. The biggest holdup is going to The Meijer
Warehouses. They take forever and don’t care about the drivers. I get home when I need to which is big because I have doctors appointments. Guess I
Don’t have anything bad to say about Stageline, but they could get more local drivers so we wouldn’t have to unload and could just drop.
