Starbiz Model And Talent RIPOFF, STEALING MONEY FROM A TWO YEAR OLD.. TRYING TO FORFILL HIS DREAM!! Scottsdale Arizona

So it all started because of the radio. Driven in my car one with my handsome son listen to at that time was Power 92.3, A comercial come on.. I dont really recall how the camercial went but the part i remember is the reason why i dicieded to go in. "Every where you go do people tell you your child is cute or handsome". Man if i would have know what the outcome was going to be i would have never have gone.

In a hurry I pulld over and wrote down the number. Before I calld I contacted my mother-in -law, and asked her what she thought about me taken her grandson to an modleing audition. How funny that she told me that i had to becareful cause it could be a scam.. I think back now and man was she so right..

I got an appointment for the next morning.. Instead of worrying about what my son what going to wear to the audition.. I went to Tommy Hilfiger and got him a cute outfit with a hat.. The next day my mother-in-law, my self and my beautiful son drove out to Scottsdale.

Inpatienly sitting in the lobby I lookd around to all the other kids waiting to audition. I thought to myself "what if they dont think my son is cute enough or dosent have what it takes". "In my heart baby your got what it take to become some one". We waited about 45 minutes for only 5 minutes. I was told to call between 2 and 4 in the afternoon.

The time came around for the Big Call. I was put on hold cause Melette wanted to speak to me. Melette told me that they were ineriested in my son modeling for them, and that she had to go over some papers with me. Now Ive read some of the other sending in ripoff reports. They're reports say that they had pay about $600 dollars for the audition. I dont recall paying that amount. It was more like $800 dollars for my son audition.

I really wanted my son to become a modle so I borrow $800 dollars from my uncle so that my son could get started on his career. The next day I meet with Melette, reviewed a contract and handed her $800 dollars. We schedule a photo shoot, 100 disk were going to be mailed out to different companies and agents. I was told that my son was going to be in a catalog, that he was going to travil to New York, Denver, and LA. Every thing is supost to be paied for, but i wouldnt know cause my son hasent heard any thing from Starbizz Modles and Talent.

About two months later I recieved a disk with my son first photo shoots. I was told that my son did comeout in a catalog, but i never recieved them. my son turned 1 and soon after I took him to another photo shoot. Lil did I know that would be the last photo shoot he would have with them. The only reason for the last photo shoot was cause I calld a different number for what I thought was a different company. Come to knw it was the same company. They told me that my sons pictures had to be renewed. I didnt see Melette the last time I was there. Bruce was the one I talked to that last time I was there. That was also the day I recieved the catalog my son came out in. I remember askin Bruce why my son wasent being called for more auditions or just plain out anything. All Bruce said was that all they could do was to put the picture out there and just hope people would call them back.

My son has been a modle for Satrbizz Modle and Talent for more than two years, my son was 8 months when he auditioned. He'll be 3 years old in June and hasent heard any thing form Starbizz Modles and Talent the whole time he's been with them. A refund would be nice, acually yes I do want a refund, only because its been so long and my son has nothing to show for but lil cheap catalog. I mean if they're taking so much money from clients dont you think they would have more money for better looking catalogs, then the cheap ones they came out with?? Really do think about that!!!

I am going to try to get my money back from Bruce. If he wout refund my money then Im going to have to take it small claims.

I do want poeple to look out for the scams. If a modleing company really whats your child to become a modle and represent them, they wont charge you for them auditioning. Do becareful people, and research the company you're child is auditioning for before you get RIPOFF!!!
