Starving Students Moving Company ripoff, Poor Service Baltimore Maryland

I scheduled a move in early February on 2005 with Starving Students. When the movers arrived the house was pretty much packed with exception of a few things. It took the movers several hours to load the truck. I informed the company that it was a rather large move and they only sent out two men. I was told that I would have to pay extra for the third man.

The movers were kind when they arrived and they assured me that they were going to move my belongings as quickly as possible without charging a lot of money. The movers made one trip and billed $726.00. They left everything in the living room of the new house and never even asked if a second trip needed to be made. They damaged my new front door and placed a hole in the wall along with damage to the funture. They also failed to deduct from my bill the hour that they spent eating lunch. I filed a claim in February to be compensated for the damages. I was compensated for the damages to the furniture in May of 2005. It is now July of 2005 and I still have not received compensation for my broken door and the hole in my wall.
