In December of 2011, I set up two merchant accounts with Statewide Merchants.  The sales rep named Rex explain how I would save $$$ with Statewide Merchants.  He had me pull out some paperwork from our current merchant services provider and broke down which areas we would receive the savings.  He also stated I would not be subject to any early termination fees, since I had my own credit card machines.

A couple months later, I cancelled the service due to lack of savings.  Shortly thereafter, I received an unknown debt to each of my business accounts.  Upon inquiry I was informed that each debt was Statewide Merchants billing me an "Early Termination Fee."  Statewide Merchants further stated we were obligated to pay these fees pursuant to the contract and that Statewide Merchants would do us "the favor of reducing each early termination fee from from $1000 to $500."

Knowing we never agreed to these fees & that I never signed any such agreement, I had Statewide Merchants fax me the contract on file.  When comparing the contract sent via fax and my original copy it was clear that Rex the sales rep added additional fees after the contract was already signed.

I've spoke with Raj, the supervisor of Statewide Merchants Sales Department, who is also Rex's supervisor and forwarded a copy of my original contract so that he can verify the fraudulent actions done on the part of our sales rep.  Till this day Raj has never followed up with us.  I've called numerous times since then and on 11/28/12 Anthony informed me that I would receive a full reimbursement by check in 7-10 business days.

We never got the check.   Everytime I've called since then I am feed BS and/or those in charge are just not available.
