I'm on a business trip to US. And I'm staying in this Staybridge Suites hotel in Lonetree, CO. I'm staying here for more than 6 weeks. And since mine is only a short term trip to US, I could not get an phone of my own and I'm using my hotel phone for all my incoming I have asked them about tariffs and they said outgoing calls are charged depending on the number you called and incoming calls are free. But the hotel did not provide an option for the people to call me directly to the room. They have to call the frontdesk number and they have to connect to my room manually. Since I'm from India which is in a completely different timezone, I used to get calls late in US time since that is generally the business hours in India. And I get calls from my girlfriend, my parents and friends.

The frontdesk person is starting to use abusive words to the person calling for me. When I first come to know about this, I spoke to the Manager and he said he will take care of it. But things did not improve even after. The man answering the calls used to speak in a very harsh tone to the people calling me. He said calling frequently to a number comes under Pornographic law of US. Even without trying, he said he could not connect the call etc. He said his manager asked him to abuse such frequent callers.

Is this the way the hotel deal with a guest?

Is it not the Customer, who is the most important part of his duty? What other official duty of his comes before attending a customer?

How can he use abusive language to the person calling for a guest of his hotel?

I'm seriously upset with services of the Hotel and I'm here to report the same aganist them.
