I contracted with Steadfast Movers via UHaul.com moving help link.  I contacted Steadfast via phone and email to confirm appointment.  After flying 1,900 miles I rented my truck and waited at the appointment time for Steadfast to show.  They never did.  After leaving several messages Steadfast to ascertain whether or not anyone was coming I got no response.  I called Uhaul customer support and they also left an urgent message.  After two hours of waiting I canceled my contract through Uhaul customer support.  I was then forced to find new moving help, all in all it cost me five hours of time wasted until I could begin loading.

Uhaul allows consumers who use their moving help service to provide feedback on their contracted supplies which I did leave a poor rating to educate the public.  Upon later review I noticed Steadfast had entered their own comment that my poor review was a mistake because the had no recored of me.  This is completely dishonest and I believe the public has a right to know not to do business with such and disreputable company.

Here is a view of the email I received from Steadfast with my response:

Sorry I missed your call this morning.  Here are the details of my move:

Location: Storage Solutions, 6201 Cayce Lane, Columbia, TN 38401

Meet me there at 1 PM on Wednesday, October 6th.

You will be moving my household belongings from a 10x23 storage unit to a 26 Penske truck.

Please confirm receipt of this email.

Do yourself a favor and choose another mover. Steadfast did not show up, calls for 2 hrs past the move time with no answer. Communication prior to the move was very poor. Rating: F-

You must have us mixed up with another company, your information never showed up on our side, never received any calls or messages either. Are you sure you had the right company and information?


I would highly recommend not doing business with this dishonest company!
