Buyer be aware.  This is
a trap and SCAM to get your money.  They
have my money and I do not have any parts delivered to me.

I needed a blower motor for the carpet shampooer so I used
steambrite website because the company claims to have the part delivered within
9 days.  Without my carpet cleaner I am
out of business for a while.  So, I spent
the nearly $500.00 to get the part delivered. 
Make a long story short, we ordered the part from steambrite  and it never arrived.  After 2 weeks of waiting we called the
company to find the status of the order. 
To our surprise, we were told that they have not even ordered the part
yet.  They say it takes 10 days before
they send the work order to their supplier and it would be close to 30 days
before their supplier ships the part to us. 
We cancelled the order and was told that it will be refunded to our
account in 10 days.  I think they try
very hard to make time pass after the allowed 60 days, so the dispute statue
runs out.

The refund NEVER happened. 
After another two weeks passed,  we called to find out the status of our refund
and we were told that the person that told us that we can have our money refunded,
was not authorized to give our money back. 
So, there is not going to be any refund, they claimed.  According to them they only issue store
credits and not any refunds.  This was not
noted anywhere in their website. 

I was forced to dispute the charges with my bank.  Steambrite disputed the charges.   What
is it there to dispute?  They never even
mailed the order.  My bank is on my side
and is trying to help.  But this is a
headache that no one needs.

The terms of on line sales is posted on the SteamBrite website at http://www.steam-brite.com/store/conditions.php

You will notice that you can return new - unused equipment.  It is not OK to acquire a large job, use the equipment to clean that job and then want to return the used equipment.  All equipment is new and un-used and comes with a complete manufacture warranty.  All credit card companies require that all on line supply stores fill orders in 30 days.  It is impossible for SteamBrite or any other on line company to charge a customer for product that was never shipped.   All credit card processing companies have the same policy on this issue.  Some times customer will call the "order line" for customer service issues.  All customer service issued are handled through email at info@steambrite.com so we have a written record of what has transpired.  The order taking operators also offer to type emails to customer service for you if you do not know how to type the email yourself.  I find that most customers, since they order on line, should be able to email customer service regarding any issues.  Without any more information on the transaction in question, I cannot provide more information in this issue.  I also do not recall ever having a credit card company force us to provide a refund.  All products have shipped and tracking provided.
