Stein Mart gets a kickback from a shady magazine subscription company in NY. The clerks will tell you that they are showing their "appreciation" for your business with three free months of a magazine subscription. Stein Mart provides this company with your credit/debit card number (for which they are compensated) and then the billing begins. So far I have had to cancel three subscriptions. After years of being a loyal and satisfied Sten Mart customer, we will never shop ther again. Consumers beware, Stein Mart will do anything for a buck, including selling your credsit card information.
