Plus two related offences. Plea: Not Guilty. Adjourned until 20/04/2018 for the trial at Newton Abbot Magistrates’ Court.

Customers sold paper instead of PlayStations in Ripon fraudsters' £15, 000 Ebay scam

Duped customers caught up in a massive E-Bay scam were sent parcels with bits of papers and cardboard inside - instead of the X-Box and PlayStation consoles they were expecting.
The bidders had been conned by a £15, 000 scam which began in a layby in Ripon and made its way to the victims’ E-Bay accounts via Hong Kong.
A flurry of complaints led police to Ripon men Jamie Orchard, 29, and Daniel Butler, 32, but the link to the Far East remains unsolved.

Following their arrest in March, Orchard, the chief instigator, was charged with fraud and transferring criminal cash. Butler was accused of money-laundering. They admitted the charges and appeared for sentence at York Crown Court on Friday.
Prosecutor Dan Cordey said the plot began in August 2014, when Orchard legitimately bought E-Bay and PayPal accounts from a young woman after arranging to meet her in a layby, where she gave him her password and user name.

Barrister Taryn Turner, for Orchard, claimed the cable worker had only made about £2, 600 after being “suckered” by crooks in Hong Kong.
Jeremy Hill-Baker, for Butler, said his client had used his expertise to advise Orchard about the legality of buying E-Bay accounts.
Recorder Mr Stubbs QC gave Orchard a six-month suspended jail sentence with 150 hours’ unpaid work and £500 costs.

Butler, of The Shepherdies, North Stainley, was given a 12-month community order with 120 hours’ unpaid work because he had played a lesser role.

We have never had police investigations into our company and absolutely never had CID investigations and also our business that is based primarily from a home address because we are online Run. The original poster is welcome to provide evidential proof that any of that claim actually happened of course. And also eBay absolutely does allow drop shipping and there is nothing in the contract or the sign up that States otherwise.

This guy has been prison before so he isn't stupid. He was showing off on social media because wasn't quite enough evidence to to press charges. This is the guy! This is him! Under contract I was expecting a professionally designed PRO eBay store. The seller just setup a basic eBay shop without any design work and charged me £3800.00
This wasn't what was agreed at point of sale and isn't what is agreed in the terms and conditions.

After noticing that I have been scammed, I read the following contract again and reading up terms and conditions on certain websites and noticed I have been miss-sold.

Payment was for trusted suppliers - My thoughts are suppliers which he has used before when it fact anyone can view the suppliers on google.com for free. Its the same list of suppliers being sold on eBay £0.99

Please read through the sales agreement you will see its very different from what received:
# Not all the 3000 suppliers accept drop shipping and this is what was meant to be sold to me.
# The contract didn't mention anything about the rules of amazon when using drop ship suppliers. 
# I didn't get a pro shop on eBay - Nothing has been designed for me.
# Contract mentioned - comes with the layered support - Never had any support and wasn't offered any.
# The contract mentioned - The products on your website will be displayed in such a way that they look appealing - I have received nothing of a kind.
# The contract mentioned - No hidden charges whatsoever to pay for this package. - Then after paying wanted me to pay for the hosting and domain name. 
# The contract mentioned - Then we will set up the eBay custom pro-shop - This hasn't been done.
# The contract mentioned - and set up the Amazon account with you and give you all relevant login details - This hasn't been done, I had to do it.
# Had no help with dealing with suppliers as mentioned in the contract.

2 x amazon accounts bought from Nathan Coombe and a guide on how not to get tracked trading under someone elses name which is dam right #ra##! Believed was buying a honest amazon business but that wasnt the case. Paid money then some months later closed down the business.

The facebook.com page has over 3000 fake fans which can be bought on places like fiverr.com.
Proof ? Any page that has those amounts of fans will clearly have likes on the articles he is posting. The page has zero likes on the topics he has posted. This is a clear sign that the fans are fake.

If you use a website called – WAYBACKMACHINE – You will see he has just copied and pasted images from other competitor websites and uploaded onto this facebook.com page to try and make you think they are most established.
Can you trust a company who is trying to trick you into buying there services!

So when customers do a search online they think sterling businesses ltd is the same as the above website and think WOW ok lets invest! Don’t fool for this trick!

The director Nathan coombe calls himself a different name on the telephone and in the emails but when you have been hyped up and ready to pay, you pay the company name in the invoice and not really knowing the person you’ve paid. Not until you do your research again.

All the facebook.com pages the likes have been loaded! Cheated the system
He calls himself a totally different name in emails and over the phone.
Very simalar name has some other legit company offering the same service which makes it hard for you to do your research.
His legal 3rd party business practices are not legal!
