Is Sterling Introductions Matchmaking Service A Fraud?

                                http://www.sterlingintroductions.com/

I became a client of Sterling Introductions matchmaking service, Atlanta based matchmaking service run by Ulrike Eitel (aka. Uli Wills), in December 2009. I hired her to find a husband for me. She told me it would not be a problem or take long since I was attractive and intelligent.

  1. I was

immediately matched up with a man from Amsterdam who I suspect is Ulis friend

and not an actual Sterling Introductions matchmaking member.
  2. After

December there were no more matches. In March I emailed Uli about how slow

the process was taking, she told me that the men she had in mind for me

met other women outside the service, then put their memberships on hold. This

was suspicious since when I signed up she told several matches were

available. I told her I had doubts she could find me a match. I was

ignored for two months: no emails, phone calls, monthly newsletters

stopped. This is not the service expected on the level that the $5,000 fee

    I paid should warrant.
  3. I

called the first week of May and Uli blamed the bad customer service of

Sterling Introductions on mistakenly not keeping in contact with me and

being very busy for two months. Being busy is a sorry and unprofessional

excuse when you are charging $5,000 for an upscale matchmaking service. I

might as well be on a regular dating site, as least they have better customer

service. I told Uli I wanted a partial refund. She said she doesnt give

refunds and when I said I would report her to the Better Business Bureau

and other relevant organizations, she told me to go ahead.
  4. After

this, I did some investigating and found out she was the VP of Finance for Merit Transportation , a company

located in Omaha, Nebraska that is accused of  insurance

    fraud
. Channel 6 News did some stories about

employees having premiums taken out of their checks for health insurance

that was non-existent. The employees couldnt get reimbursed for

exorbitant medical bills since the insurance was privately funded and Merit

Transportation filed bankruptcy. Some have filed lawsuits. Please see the

links below and Google search the company name and her name for more

    information.

This information made me think that Ulrike Eitel (Uli Wills) and Sterling Introductions could be running a scam on me. It is highly suspect when a person who was VP of Finance for a business accused of insurance fraud and now runs a business where large amounts of money are paid.  I would suggest not using Sterling Introductions.
