Steve Ortega Beware: Written Agreements Mean Nothing to This Man Chino Hills California

Steve Ortega is an untrustworthy lying theif, that no one should do business with, if they hope to do business with an ethical, honest person. Do not give him money under any circumstances as it would be the same as burning it. His word and commitment in writing are worthless. I have the documents to back it up.

Steve Ortega had me draw up an agreement for a three way even split of funds received based on my meeting and conference call to close a consulting agreement, which I also drew up. None of the other two parties were present or on the call that I was directed to facilitate. When the funds came in, Steve Ortega deposited the funds in his son's business account (which he disclosed) and said he would cut checks as we had all agreed (33 1/3% each).

Mr. Ortega gave me numerous accolades for my accomplishment on the deal and thanked me more than once. Once he new the check was in route he began to make comments that eluded to the possibilities that my expected split as designated in the signed agreement might be in jeopardy. In his demented mine he started justifying a path of greed to keep as much as he could at my expense. 

Mr. Ortega decided that $1,000 or 4% was justified, despite the signed agreement by all three parties. His bipolar personality mixed with unethical greed proceeded to evolve into a lying, cheating dishonerable individual that has no interity and should be avoided at all costs in business or otherwise. This was a $25,000 contrat that was supposed to be split 3 ways evenly. Mr. Ortega kept $18,000 ( 72%) after agreeing to splitting it 33 1/3% each. It is not uncommon to come accross people who violate their word. This character has gone to the next level of discounting his written words to being worthless.

Do not trust anything this guy says or puts in writing. He has no self-guilt as it is now apparent that I will have to legally seek action against him and his son (using his bank account) to recover what is honestly due me.
