StopIRSDebt.com None that I know of This Business promised me to help with my back taxes and get me into a forgiveness program, stop liens and garnishments but did not do a thing but took my money. I requested a full-refund after the business would nt provide me requested statements of what services they provided for me. Los Angeles California

StopIrsDebt.com in April, 2016 to help me with my back federal tax issues. I saw the ad on t.v. and called a toll-free number to inquire about their services. I spoke to a man who claimed to be a lawyer and he made several promises that the business would help me get my back-taxes forgiven and that any liens or wage garnishments would be stopped. In June, 2016 I begin to have my wages garnished and I called the StopIrsDebt.com to ask what was going on. I had been sending them money since they requested a total of $2,440.00 to help me with my case. I did not get an answer each time I called and the phone would just ring and ring and sometimes I would get put on hold and nobody would answer. When I finally got through, I was told that the lawyers were working on my case but things like this take time. Over the months, I had not heard anything so I tried to contact them again and did not get a response. I e-mailed them and called the several times and requested a copy of my statements showing the services they provided and that they provide me with a billing statements. By this time, I had been them in full. I was frustrated and contacted the IRS and talked to a representative there and they told me that the StopIrsDebt.com place did not help me whatsoever and that I was ready to be placed in collections status. I was still having wage garnishments and as I write this today I am still have $500.00 or more taken out of my pay check to the IRS. The IRS employee felt bad for me and said I was ripped off and that he would help me get in the forgiveness program if I mailed in my 2017 federal taxes. I did send them in about a week ago. I sent an on-line request to the StopIrsDebt.com website and told them I was contacting the state of California Attorney General's office and a lady called me back upset and said I wasn't going to get my money back because I filed a complaint against them with the Attorney Generals office and the Better Business Bureau. Both the BBB and Attorney General's office told me they couldn't help me. I tried to hire a lawyer who handles civil cases but the lawyers said the amount was too small to deal with. All I want is my $2,440.00 back that this business stole from me and provided me with false information and schemed my money. They did not provide me with proof of what they did or any receipt but I do have my bank statements. The staff at StopIrsDebt.com are rude unprofessional. I need help getting my money back and to have this business shut down for false advertisement and scamming people.
