A phone number 112082310133 called with a man speaking in a very strong accent stating he wanted to help me consolidate my Federal student loans. I told him I am currently on short term disability from my nursing job and he said so many great things he could do for me including 100% reimbursement.

I felt weary when I told him I cannot pay anything until I start working again. He said "not even $99 by the end of the month or in ten days your payment? I stated no, nothing. I asked where he was located and he said Maryland right now and his main office is in California, so I thought oh maybe then?

He said he sent me a confirmation code in my e-mail to assure i was who I was and to tell him the code..... this is where i found out I was being scammed! What he sent me is what we get when we state we forgot our login passcode to our personal loan account with the FSA. I asked him why does he want to access my account, that he should have all my information in his data if he were legit. He said he needed to know my loan information. I told him I could give him what he needed to know, but I was not going to allow him to access my account which has aaaaallllllll my personal information.

I asked him again what his company was and I googled it and found this rip-off report on them already done. I told him if he was legit he would not have to ask me my information or have me reset my passcode?! that is insane! So I said he was on the internet as rip off and to take my number off his list and not call me.

He got defensive and said "fine you don't want help with your loan?" I replied, "not from you." And hung up.

Imagine if I would have done something?! I'm already having to file bankruptcy and have two kids and have become acutely ill out of no where and borrowing money from my 68yo mother and 94yo grandmother for my test and insurance co-insurances/co-pays etc. grrrr. The sad thing is I told him all that, and he still was gonna jip me! How awful this world has come to. This bugs me in the world; then I went to BBB. It states they aren't even in business??....

Sincerely,

A poor RN who was once very well off and now struggling with an acute illness after giving 15years of my life to save others in the ER and ICU. :(
