Yesterday was supposed to be a happy day. My girlfriend and I were moving into a new townhome from our one bedroom apartment. A big upgrade so my mom and dad and her dad can come visit whenever they want.

Initially we were quoted $450 by students moving you. They wound up charging us $699. When we called to inquire, the owner james was nasty to my girlfriend. I then called only to be cursed out, called a "tough guy" and then told "go ahead, leave a bad review, see what happens" again by the owner James . Sounds like the typical nightmare moving story. For what it is worth, they did do a rather good job packing and moving everything. Kimberly was also at least attempting to remain cordial throughout the pricing dispute. The owner has an anger issues clearly.

The nightmare had only begun at this point. I was downstairs at the newly moved dining table to be called upstairs by my girlfriend and shown an empty ring box. In that box, just days prior, was the engagement ring of my girlfriends mother who has recently passed on. My girlfriend has been hysterically crying the last 24 hours. She is completely beside herself. As am I. I realize whoever responsible did not know the significance of taking that ring, but the sentimental value of it is priceless. All the person responsible saw was a small diamond ring, but it is a lot more than that. No amount of money or apology can make things right. The sad thing is, theyll be lucky to get a few hundred dollars for it a pawn shop.

The evil that has been perpetrated here is unlike any I've ever experienced personally. I can only say, I will pray for their souls.

Better cross your fingers that nothing gets broken, because if it does... you're screwed

As the other person stated, if you have a problem at all, they're going to act like the amount of money you spent to move is NOTHING, and that you won't get anything for the time you spend trying to get something resolved.

The movers came, broke some legs on my vintage bookshelf claiming that "has never happened before", followed by them promising someone will come out to address it. The truth is that after calling they told me nothing will happen, and if it was worth my time, maybe in 6 months I might get $30.

Businesses like this are ones to avoid at all costs. Do it yourself and hire some help, you'll save money & ultimately, have more control over the end result.
