Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Do not work for this company.  They will refuse to pay you after you quit, and claim that they are going to give your money that you earned to those who are currently writing for other customers.

Additionally, they will send the information to their attorney when you did nothing wrong.  For example, management claims that you did not resolve customer issues, but you tell them otherwise because of not hearing from them after they are resolved.

The organization will restrict your account and lie to you in order to get rid of you.  They will steal from you as well as break the law by refusing to pay you what you had coming for that particular month.

Please beware of this organization.  They break the contract that is provided to you as a writer, and lie as well as steal from you.  If this happens, please go to your local Department of Labor in your state, the attorney general and the FTC.  By doing this, you may get them to no longer exist for ripping people off with the money that you earned.

Student Network Resoures is the best!

AUTHOR: Professor Verb - (United States of America)

I've worked for SNR for almost 12 years now, and I've never had any problems with pay. In fact, the staff at SNR has bent over backwards helping me and my family over the years through times of family medical emergency, deaths, and illness and I've received nothing but support and understanding through it all.

Having worked at SNR for this length of time, I have also seen many writers come and go. If this complaint concerns the same writer that I am thinking of, there were a number of unexcused late papers involved that had to be refunded to clients or reassigned to other writers at higher pay rates to complete them. I know these things only because I accepted one of these assignments and saw the message exchanges between SNR and the writer in question.

You can trust this company completely, either as a writer or a client -- and I mean it.

A Totally Different Perspective

AUTHOR: SNRwriter - (United States of America)

I have been writing for SNR/EssayTown on and off since late 2003 and fulltime since my retirement from a senior writer position in the federal government in early 2007. As a writer, I have absolutely nothing to gain from defending the company from these particular accusations, since they are intended to deter other writers from working for them (and not customers) and those prospective writers would be in direct competition with me for assignments. My company writer ID is "FreelanceWriter" and my only motive for responding is that I respect truth and I have direct knowledge that the accusations are ridiculous.

The truth is simply that the company has no choice but to fire writers if they receive multiple complaints from customers about the quality of their work. As one of their top-billing and best writers, I have been asked to take over or rewrite orders from some of those writers who had to be fired. The company has never missed a payment or paid me late in almost 10 years. Before switching to direct deposit, one check was not received and the company reissued it immediately upon being notified. If a customer's rewrite request is valid because of my mistake, the company requires a rewrite. If the rewrite request is invalid, the company always backs me up and explains to the customer why a particular rewrite request is not appropriate. All of that is clearly spelled out in our contract, including a requirement that we retain copies of any completed assignments for at least 45 days in case there is ever a problem with an order after the fact. It also spells out that we forfeit the entire month's earnings if we're ever caught plagiarizing.

I have no idea who this writer is or what the specific facts are in this case, but I do know that the company is 100% legitimate and doesn't "rip off" its writers or its customers. If your work is good, you will never have a problem with this company.

Another Disgruntled Writer

AUTHOR: SNRinc - (United States of America)

It is apparent we have another disgruntled writer on our hands.  Since we have worked with over 500+ writers in our 12+ operational years we must assume that not all are going to be happy.  It is evident that this particular writer was not retained for their services for one reason or another.  The fact that they hide behind an anonymous name and/or location also raises our suspicion.

It's safe to say that since only 2 writers out of the 500+ we have worked with over the years have filed complaints, that these individuals are upset their writing skills or lack of did not meet our strict requirements.  The statistics also do not favor these two disgruntled individuals.

Report is accurate

AUTHOR: johnsonson - (United States of America)

I also worked as a "freelance" contractor for SNR and they did the same thing to me.  They bothered me to the point where it was really harrassment and didn't pay for work I'd done, then went to their "attorneys" (who appeared to me to be fake attorneys) to intimidate me about "breach of contract," insisted that I hadn't met customer specifications when those specifications were not in the directions given (customers would add things later--obviously these are people who can't write their own papers and are paying others to write them, so you can guess what kinds of people they are), then ultimately caved when I wasn't intimidated by their egregious behavior.  I've lived around courthouses (family has legal jobs and I worked at one myself) and have to say that their attorney's behavior would never help these people, which is one reason I suspect he's a fake--were he real he would not behave so belligerently or with such lack of tact and lack of understanding of legality.  To threaten to sue for breach of contract BEFORE the assignment was due was totally tactless.  They agreed to pay me for the work I'd done and then left off one assignment from the check; rather than complain about the $40 I just let it be.

One time they came to me 3 weeks after i'd sumbitted an assignment, told me the customer couldn't access the file, and demanded that I re-submit it immediately and would not stop bothering me about it.  This was a 5 question assignment on Set Theory and one of the questions was nonsensical, included all sorts of bizarre figures that made it look like the wires got crossed on a text message to a foreign country.  I told them that if the customer needed it so fast he shouldn't have waited 3 weeks to note the file inaccessible.  This comment was disregarded completely.

They also lied in their presentation of the job.  I can't deny that I somewhat knew I'd be writing papers for people who weren't interested in writing them themselves, but it was clearly stated that my papers would be used as a platform which students would consult and that they would not be using them for classes.  They might as well be honest about it.  The students used the papers for themselves.

Rebuttal to SNR

AUTHOR: eklmattke - (USA)

This company has the wrong person and the wrong information.  They stole my money and forced me to quit.  Do not believe a word they say because of their horrible reputation.  They exploit others in order to keep the money.

False Allegations against SNR

AUTHOR: SNRinc - (United States of America)

This a response to the message posted by a freelance writer for Student Network Resources Inc., that goes by the initials of E.M.

The writer was not an employee of Student Network Resources, she was a freelance writer contracted to complete various writing assignments for our company and clients. After various complaints by our customers regarding the quality of the work completed by E.M., we decided to terminate our work relationship with her, once she completed her remaining contracted work.

We informed E.M. of this decision via email and she responded back that she quit, wanted to be paid immediately and would not be finishing any of the remaining fifteen pending orders she was contractually obligated to complete. We responded informing her that if she did not complete the remaining orders we would have to pay other writers a higher rate to complete them, a cost which would be absorbed completely by her.

She did not respond to our email nor did she complete any of those pending orders. We have a solid reputation within our industry with both our writers and clients which can be easily verified. This individual is clearly upset because we did not retain her services based on the poor quality of her writing and understanding of simple instructions.

If any of the above information needs to be clarified, you can contact our supervisor Mark at We have an email thread which clearly states all the facts mentioned in our rebuttal post.
