A contract for a modular garage building was entered into with Sturdy-Built Manufacturing in September 2003. Sturdy-Built defaulted on their obligation to deliver the structure after receiving a 1/3 down deposit.
A judgement in a civil law suit brought against Sturdy-Built was agreed upon in August 2005. Sturdy-Built immediately defaulted on their agreement to settle the suit by paying $7,930 to us. This was in direct defiance to a Hunderton County, NJ court order
Sturdy-Built has four additional contract disputes pending against them in the town where I reside. One of these four is currently working its way through the court system.
The owner of Sturdy-Built understands that most individuals will not/can not pay substantial legal expenses to pursue the injustice he inflicts upon them. He also understands that being a PA based company, there is little the State of New Jersey will or can do to him as he has no assets in New Jersey.
