(1) I had a 2002 Subaru Legacy. Simetime in mid February 2007 my wife and I were on freeway. Noticed from inside that " Please check engine" and noticed on outside there was smoke came out from the hoot. I was affraid to drive. I called Subaru and they told me to bring my car there. I called my AAA to tow my car to Subaru.

(2) We were at Subaru and while waiting for machanic to tell me whats wrong with my car, my wife and I went to showroom, to see cars. We talked to a sales person nemed David. I also know one of sales manager named Jeff. E look few cars and my wife decided want to buy new car. we interesed in 2007 Impreza, so we took test drive. Then back to showroom

The sales person starting trying to sale us the car by telling us that my 2002 Legacy will cost $3000 to fix and it takes 2 weeks to order the part. But never told me whats wrong with my car. The sales person told me to trade in and will give me $8000 for my Legacy but minus $3000 to fix it. So they gave $5000 to trade in. I was also required to put another $2500.

So total down payment $7500 for 2007 Impreza. At the time they offered me the Added Security Agreement, which cost me $1395 to add to the cost of the new Impreza.

(3) I drove new Impreza home that early everning. When we arrive home we notice there was no map lights. All my previous cars had map lights.(I had my first car was Nissan 200 SX, Subaru was 1994 Legacy then 2002 Legacy)
Very next day I went back to Subaru and talk to the same sales person abot map light. First he told me justv to put extra light plug in through cigaret lighter. I think that was a very stupid sugestion. I talked to a machanic and he said that there is no wiring inside for map light. I was not happy with the car.

Sales person went to talk with someone in the office and came back to and said I need to trade in with the car that has map light. Which he told me that my one-old Impreza will have less valeu than I paid for it teh day before. I was angry with the situation and left Subaru place with angry.

Went back next day talk to one of manager named Jeff. He told me the samething that I need to trade in my impreza to new one with map lights. Since I am not happy with the car without map light, so I decided to trade in, and also I take the Added Security Agreement again for new Impreza with map light, which cost me $1395 to add to the price of the car.

(4) About less than two weeks later (sometime first week in March 2007), I wrote a letter to Jeff that I want to cancell the Added Security Agreement.
I never heard from Jeff or anyone from Subaru Las Vegas. I decided I sent email to Subaru USA HQ. and John J. Mergen replied. I found the phone number and I called and write to Subaru USA HQ ATTN Cherry Hill NJ. I left message for Mr. Keith Tilton. Linda Fouch called me to asked me about the matter.

After few a moth emailing here is what Linda Fouch email me "Subaru have no control over this situation. The contract was put in through your financing". Then I contact Chase Bank throught email, they told me I need to contact Subaru. I have been email with Chase bank many times. Then one day Linda Fouch from Subaru HQ called me and tell me to go to Subaru LAs Vegas to Speak with Mr. Burth Hudges. I went to see Burth Hughes at SUBARU Las Vegas and he asked me to sign the cancelation of The Added Security Agreement (that was April 19, 2007).

(5) I have tried months with Chase Bank to credit the $1395, at the first the rep at Chase Bank will try to credit but months after months I have been waiting for credit, still no credit appear yet. And finally the rep told me that I need to contact Subaru. Subaru todl em to contact the Chase Bank and the bank told me to contact Subaru.

Sometime this week the lady from Subaru HQ named Gina called me and told me she will asked Subaru Las Vegas to cut a check of $1395 and send to Chase Bank and Gina told me to wait few days to see credit in my account.

(6) So it is very clearly that SUBARU Las Vegas tried to ripp me off, not only about trade-in but also about cancellation the Added Security Agreement. It takes me 4 months back and forth just to have a credirt of canellation of $1395. I was about ready to hire an attorney to resolve this problem with Subaru.

(7) I sugest to any one in Las Vegas not even try to go to SUBARU and buy any SUBARU cars. I decided that I WILL NEVER BUY SUBARU EVER AGAIN IN MY LEFE.
