Sugar and Spice Daycare Grand Bay, AL F*g NUTS! Grand Bay Alabama

My children went there for nearly 2 years (mind you this was a few years ago). I'll tell you what I witnessed before I say what my kids have told me. Here's what I see: I walked in one day to pick up my kid to see that the little toddlers were going to the bathroom. They had sort of this line and the children would use the bathroom and as they would wash their hands, another kid would go in. Seems harmless right? No, it wasn't. They were letting the BOYS AND GIRLS do it together, like it was alright! That's disgusting! Not to mention, I was chaperoning a Christmas party for after school kids and the toddlers and because I forgot cupcakes one day, they didn't give my children anything. Nothing. Nada. After I paid literally $12 each for my 3 kids to attend. It was until one of the older teachers in there walked in and gave my children something to eat because she felt bad because obviously my kids were upset. Not to mention, the prices kept going up! It was $100 for my two after school kids and $200 for my toddler to attend. It was all in all $300 FOR ALL THREE OF MY KIDS! Then, it kept going up and up and up. When they left it was almost $400! They kept my, at the time, 3 year old daughter in pull ups and diapers even though she was potty trained. They didn't even let me bring in diapers for her. I had to pay a fee for diapers that she didn't even need!!

Now, here's my kids' point of view: my oldest said that they did the bathroom line that they did with the toddlers, but with the older kids, and there was gender seperation. One of the middle-aged, bigger lady's told her she could close the door, since she was in 5th grade. So, she did. While she was washing her hands, THE SAME LADY WHO TOLD HER SHE COULD SHUT THE DOOR bursts in and starts scolding her. Not to mention, she said this lady was always angry and complaining. It was like she had something against the children. My middle child told me of an incident in which she was snatched up by her arm out of her chair for not moving to another table, simply because she didn't hear the lady. My oldest backs this up as well. Then, she proceeds to tell her to, "stop holding your arm like that to make it red." I can't make this s**t up! Need I remind you that this is the same lady who told my oldest she could shut the bathroom door. She left a bruise on my daughter!

There are only two acceptable teachers there, which is the older lady and another thinner, young one. My youngest tells me of how mean they all were. She hated going there. She said she felt like she was a baby. I remember once, when that middle-aged woman wasn't there and the younger one was and she actually taught my daughter how to spell some words and the alphabet. My youngest has told me how the middle-aged woman would be so angry whenever she didn't get something right and yell at her! Who does that!? Anyway, this is a disgusting place! I do not recommend you take your children there if you don't want them to be treated like sh*!
