Summit Financial Corp has unfair company policies.  They have decided to pray on the poor or people that are not credit worthy. Here are examples of other customers of Summit:

Jennifer R. reports; "This company is whack completely. They said my opening balance was $10,305.94 and a year later tried to say my payoff was $10,205.96 so they tried to tell me I only paid off a $100? Really. Go screw yourselves. Ive already reported them to the BBB."

Damaris A. reports; "I am so sad i was financed through this bogus company. I think im going to report them to BBB. Ive had two bad experiences with this company so far, they are unprofessional and not helpful at all. We do need to band together to shut them down. Im pissed Sutherlin Nissan deals with this company, they take advantage of people with bad credit in desperate situations."

mikel f. reports; "HELLO , IS THERE ANY WAY TO KNOW OR KEEP TRACK OF YOUR ACCOUNT ?
I have an account since a year with summit financial corp and i not be able to know where am at or how much do i need to pay off .if any body know please give me a hand".

Jessy R. reports; "I recently purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry LE at Maroone Toyota in February 2010 for $15,439.06. The original annual percentage was 18.58 percent and my payments would be $399.96 a month for 5 years. My down payment was $4500. Two days later the finance manager called me to come to the dealership after signing a contract for this original amount and told me that the bank "Summit Financial Corporation" asked that I pay $452.00 instead, which also changed my interest rate to 24.30 percent and my total payment for 6 years would be $31,578. I was really desperate for a car because of my State job with the department of health, which required me to drive all day, but after sitting down and reading this contract and all of these negative comments about "Summit Financial Corp", I really got screwed."

Manuel F. reports; "This company is a scam, they are all scam artists in that office, they lie and they are taking the consumers money, we need to contact the Attorney General's office, which I will be doing this week because they are doing fraud."

ANA G. reports; "this company really needs to be look up, please lets get together so we can do a class action case. you finance one amount and after a year or two your amount is bigger. im having a lot of trouble with them. they are a fraud. but if we the consumer dont get together and do somenthing about it, they will continue with the scam. im open to receive messages to contact everybody and get together to do somenthing. i regret doing bussiness with that fake company, they still your money"

Jose M. reports; "This company needs to be looked into , they scam customers , you make payments they do not send invoices, and they keep saying that you never made a payment , The BBB, should contact the agency that monitors Finance companies and have Summit investigated the are scam artists , and will lie about never receiving your payments , they never want to take checks because you can always go back to that payment , They need to CLOSE them down, immediately before more people fall into their Scam"

These are just a few of many reports you can find on:
http://www.trustlink.org/Reviews/Summit-Financial-Corp-206014867#150146 and there you will see what Summit is doing to its customers.  The BBB has  obligation to investigate this and any other company who lie, cheat and steal from its customers.  I am reporting this after i been paying on a car for 4 years and still owe d**n near the same amount I owe 3 years ago.  So please for the Love of Christ would BBB do a investigation of Summit.  At this rate I will never get through paying for my car.  PLEASE HELP!!!
