I had looked at a 1999 Mercury Villager, I drove it and decided I liked it. There finance Manager worked up $11,999.00 for the vehicle and $2,000.00 for my trade and I would put $1,000.00 down on it. I informed them that I was a single mom and I had to be particular about a vehicle. They told me that all there cars go through a 125 point inspection, and I said I was not sure. So they asked me to comeback the next day (2-21-04) to talk about it.

When I came back I felt extremely pressured into buying this vehicle. I told them that I only drove it once and I had not had a chance to have someone check it out for me. So they offered for me to take it for the day and I told them that I could not bring it back before Monday if I took it that I would have to come back next week to take it for a day. They decided to let me have it from 2-21-04 to 2-23-04. The car's fuel light was on and the sales person told me that if I filled it up that he would take care of me when I returned the vehicle.

I had 2 mechanics check the vehicle out. This is what I found; large quanity of brake dust on the wheel, there was an air leak on the driver side door, the entire underside of the vehicle was completely rusted , rust had already started forming on the inside of the doors, all of the aluminium on the motor had oxidized from salt, the indicator light on the dash was not working. The rust was a great concern and the reason why I did not buy the vehicle.

When I took the vehicle back on the 23rd I informed them of my findings and that the 125 point inspections was false. They then told me that 125 point inspections were only marked a problem if it is not working at all. I told them I felt offended and disappointed and that I was not going to do business with them and that I wanted my $28.00 back for filling the vehicle up. The sales manager told me I would have to get the money from the sales person, the sales person refused to return the money. So I left extremely upset in my original car. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE, IF YOU DO CHECK THE VEHICLE FIRST!!
