I should heve known better than to look for a property on craigslist. However, inspite of my best jugement I decided to call this company associated with an address-less listing on CRAIGSLIST of all places. 

Hoping that this was a sensible individual, I called the number provided and his accent was so thick I expereinced GREAT difficulty understanding him, so I had to have him repeat things several times. 

Hardly a professional himself, this caused him great disturbance and annoyance given my confusion. He also mentioned that I would have to pay $99 in order for him to offer the address on the listing that I sought to inquire about online. 

Given my disbelief, I asked him to "walk me through the process" which, as I could tell, annoyed him even further. How would a bank need to charge me a fee to buy information or membership to a service if they are ultimately going to make a sale from my purchase indefinitely on said rent to own property? 

Odd right?

The fewer barriers to a final sale and happy customer, the better? My logic escapes me in this situation, so it seems.

So while on the phone with him I checked the Better Business Bureau and it turns out IT'S A SCAM. 

I then politely thanked him for his time but informed him that I would not pursue this opportunity. 

Before hanging up, he took the liberty of calling me a moron. Do morons research the Better Business Bureau for information? I wonder.
