SUNLIFE OF CANADA - SUN LIFE ASSURANCE COMPANY OF CANADA DON'T WANT TO GIVE ME MY INSURANCE THAT I PAYED ALL THESE YEARS FOR WANT ME TO PAY BACK WELLESLEY HILLS, Maine

I'm writing this report because I feel that I was treated wrongly. I wasn;t aware that when I took this Insurance out for Long Term Disability around 8 years ago that If I got money from other souces that I would have to pay It back. I never would of took It out my job ask me and others do we want this Insurance and I said yes and from there they started taking the premuim out of my pay check each month.

I pay thinking that I would have Long Term Disability and that it would pay off when my Short Term ended. well they did 2 months later upon waiting on them I applied for Social Secuity and I was approved and I received my Award from them 8 month later. and at that time I was all ready getting my Long Term Disability my first check was for the month of 11/26/07 Issue date 1/18/08. 50% of my base pay of 1,600.00 a month which was $800.40. then Social Secuity Awarded me with $825.00 a month so now Sun Life of Canada now say's that I wasn't suppose to get to types of funds.

so I owe them back now the sum of $5778.28. for over payment and I think that not fair. they took my money with me believing that I would have Insurance that would cover me if I got sick. but now I'm being told that It was only a Loan that I paid for not Disability Insurance. I got sick with Cancer and I'm still being treated for it. now I am force to give up my Health Insurance because I can't afford it. and opening enrowment with Social Secuity isn't until January.

so I have to wait until then mean time I don't have Health Insurance because now I'm living off a $825.00 Income for all my household bills and needs. And now they want me to pay back something that I thought I had to help me with when I can't go back to work. I don't know when I be able to go back to work ever. the treatment that I'm going though are leaving my bones aching and hurting and my hands and legs having poor blood circulation. Please look in to that for me it's not fair to do people's like that. because I can't afford to live please look in to it thank you very much for reading my letter.
