Sunset Plaza AG Christian Terberger, Beatrix Terberger, Tanya Stawski of Sothesby Homes, and Joe Briseno Home rental scam - taking most of home deposit and falsely claiming damages and missing items Los angeles California

I rented a home at (((redacted)))., Los angeles, CA. 90069 from Christian Terberger, and Beatrix Terberger of Sunset Plaza AG. I have had the unpleasure of doing business with, in my opinion, scam artists you must be aware of. Christian Terberger, Beatrix Terberger, Tanya Stawski of Sothesby Homes, and Joe Briseno. They have tried to manipulate me in a very unsavory way on countless occasions. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! THEY WILL TRY TO SCREW YOU! BEWARE! In my opinion, they are running a real estate scam for renting houses manipulating the occupants that rent them. Issue #1: I mailed a signed copy of my 60-day termination to there address in Freienbach, Switzerland and sent them an email giving my required 60-day notice stated in the lease agreement. They even replied receipt of the email confirming they are aware of my termination notice. Then they said they were traveling abroad, and they were surprised to not see my mailed copy of the 60-day notice of lease termination, and they emailed me this 50 days later. I was supposed to move out in 10 days, and I told them you replied via email receipt of this lease termination with the move out date. They said, they weren’t sure what the laws were in the USA, but they thought that an email reply is not confirmation enough legally. Christian Terberger is an attorney. He knew exactly what he was doing. They wanted to rope me into another 60 days of renting there home for $12,000 a month. So I had to re-send the 60-day notice of termination again, and wait another 60 days and they effectively scammed me out of $24,000 for additional rent. Tanya Stawski represented me as the renter, but also was the listing agent and in my opinion is in on the scam as she provided me with no help and played favoritism with the Terbergers. Issue #2: I put down a $30,000 deposit on the home. When it came time to refund my deposit after the lease term expired, I was supposed receive my deposit back less the appropriate amount of money for any items missing, or damage that was above reasonable wear and tear of the home. I am a very clean person and the home was returned to them in a very good shape. I took a video of the home when I moved in and when I moved out, to represent the state of the home before and after I moved out. The Property Manager for Christian Terberger, Joe Briseno made up a slew completely false items missing, and claimed they needed to re-paint the entire home for $8,000 which the walls were all in good shape, and guess who was the contractor…Joe Briseno the property manager and close family friend. They took almost $16,000 from my $30,000 deposit which in my calculation is about $11,000 more than should’ve been taken from my deposit. I emailed them multiple times asking for the rest of my deposit and made line items of the gross overstatements or false claims that I even have on video to represent my claims as true. They have not returned any of my emails regarding this. 75% of the items they stated were false. Beware of renting from these people.
