Super Service Inc (SSI) Owned By Gainey Gainey Corporation Terminated me for reasons that a male could have gotten by with on a normal basis. Because their terminal manager in Ellenwood, Ga. disliked me and I filed a complaint agaiinst him. Somerset, Kentucky

I was terminated, because I got tired of being treated badly by the terminal manager in Ellenwood, Ga, Terminal. And because I was a female who did my job above and beyond. I was called ugly names by this person and told I was keeping a man from having a job.

This was a continuing thing since, The terminal manager took over in Late Sept. or early Oct. 2008.  He had not tried to hide his dislike for me before that. He was always telling me he would have my job if it was the last thing he did at SSI.

I went to corporate and was told to endure it. It was being investigated. There had been complaints about his discriminating against fellow drivers of my race and they were looking into it.

Since my termination, I have lost my home, not been able to get a job, they have blackballed me and lied repeatedly about my character.  There was a couple of people willing to stand up for me and verify my story and they were threatened with their jobs. One lost her job and was hired back when they found out she was standing up for the ones that were losing their jobs because of this man.

This is not good, I have been denied my unemployment and my life has been taken away.  All, I want is my unemployment and a job.  They have made both impossible for me and this is a ripoff and against my rights as a minority in todays world.  I am of the minority of the population.

I cannot afford an attorney, I cannot refile my EEOC complaint.  Gainey was sold last NOV. 2009 out of bankruptcy and I cannot find out who owns them to make a formal complaint to the new company about the continuation of old gainey business.

Help me, I want my life back and I am homeless.  I am able to use a computer through the help of someone who helps me have a little food and a clean shower daily.  I sleep in a storage building. 

How, can they get away with this?  How, can they blackball me because of the hatred of one person against me.  I was also, very ill at the time I lost my job.  I had chronic inner ear infection and upper respiratory infection along with a bacterial infection and I was threatened with my job if I didn't go back to work and when I did I lost my job.

I was tricked into the terminal in Ellenwood, Ga. to fill out a sheet we only fill out once a year and I had filled one out in January, 2009 not even close to a year.  I was fired 2 days after said incident took place.  I was in corporate office next day after alleged incident and went inside talked to several people and went to the shop for supplies.

The day after being at corporate office they routed me back to Ellenwood, Ga. and fired me.  Tell me if that sounds normal to you.  They set me up. If I had been a male and said the things I said the day of said incident it would have been overlooked.  All, I did was take up for myself when I was told to shut the $%$^ up by the terminal manager and shop manager.

I had taken all the verbal abuse I could stand and I was sick too.  I had just a few minutes earlier witnessed a male employee draw back a wrench to hit the shop manager and he still works there.  On, the day I was fired, I was told they would see to it I never drove again.   They have made good on that threat.  Can you help me?

I have several times hauled loads for this company that was overweight and I hauled several hazmat loads that I found out later were not placarded and should have been.  I feel liked I was used and abused until they were through with me. 

Several drivers who worked with me and depended on me asked, Why they did this and what were they gonna do without me?  I said, You tell me.  It upset alot of people the way I was treated and my dispatcher was lied to about everything.  He told me later that he wasn't told the same thing I told him.  But, to help me would mean his job.  This was the story with a lot of the drivers also, to help me would mean their jobs.  Can you help me?

hey if your wanting to know what they are under there (SUPER SERVICE LLC) they own GAINEY,LCT yeah they merged nov.2010 yeah i hate em too.....

Here is some information that might help you.  Gainey, Super Service and LCT were auctioned off and bought by Wayzata Investments out of Minnesota.  They now own all 3 companies and this past October we are all now called Super Service just not all the doors have been changed.  So if you need to contact the new owners that is who you will need to contact.  I've only been to the Ga terminal once. One closed and the one we use is the SUper Service terminal.  Not sure if that is the one you are talking about.  Can't give you info on that.  Hope this helped

You don't have to worry about being blackballed by them if you contact me.  I will never breath a word and they don't have to know it.  If you would like to contact me please let me know and I will make a way. So, they will not know about it.  I still haven't gotten a job and need to work badly.  If, you have any ideas please let me know about them.  I appreciate all the help I can get at this point in time.  I have never been so down in my life and I have offers.  I need to have the last six months full-time to go back.  All suggestions are welcome.  I do have an EEOC and it is moving along slowly.  I did contact other agencies also.  Investigations are at hand and that is all I can say.  Thank you again and it is possible to contact without causing you trouble, believe me.  I am in  contact with a driver on a regular basis at Super Service more than one and they keep me up on the latest excitement.  Believe me it can be very interesting the subject of conversation at times.  Me alot lately.

I wasn't aware that Gainey sold Super Service.  More than likely he sold it back to the original owner, but I cannot say that for certain.  As for who the terminal manager is at Ellenwood, it was Danny and he was an awful, self-centered, bast#*D; which I had been told [through the grapevine, of course and probably unreliable] that the big screen tv had been stolen from the lounge and they suspected Danny.  The reason being that the surveillance video which is in his office just so happened to be turned off at the time of the theft.  There was a lot of mistreatments there.  The mechanics aren't worth 50 cents and are smart asses.  The only decent guy there was Gene, but he was a trainer, so to speak [teacher].  As for Gainey, I don't think he gives a d**n one way or the other, long as he is making $$, he could give a f*#K about the drivers.  I'm sure there are the chosen few who have stayed with the company for their entire career, fussed and got their miles, brown nosed and tattle-taled [snitched] for the company and got their brownie points and kudos/  I bet they got screwed out of their retirement, too, if the truth be known.  There are probably thousands of stories and complaints about this company, but they could care less if they ruin someone's life.  As long as they make a dollar, they don't give a d**n.  They had the shabbiest equipment [trailers]; would not fix anything [cheap asses should have been reported to DOT]. It wasn't just one certain race when I was there, everyone got the same treatment, except for the company snitches.  I'm sorry you lost your house and I hope you can find a lawyer to represent you.  With all the complaints against them, Gainey made a smart move by selling the company, but he is still liable for the assholes that worked for him.  It is called EEOC and you should file a complaint with them a.s.a.p.  You don't have long to file a complaint. Or at least you don't have long to take action.  You can probably file a complaint, but you don't have a long time to take action through the EEOC  Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.  I would tell you to contact me, but I'm scared they will blackball my a*s, too.  They are sorry excuses for human beings.  Good luck.
