Through word of mouth we went to the web site of Suprnova.org and subsequently suprnova.com and signed up for a 1 year membership advertised for $3.49 per month, which should total $41.88. After signing up we were unable to access any of the items they advertised, such as movies , mp3's etc. We were directed to another site called Torrents, which was a homepage supposedly for accessing movie and mp3 files , however it was just someone else looking for a donation to use their site.

The long and short of it is that we could not access anything, we went to the suprnova.org site and there we found a soppy letter saying that the site was being closed down permanently as it has been known (to us that means nothing as we had not utilized their site). We contacted our Visa provider and asked if this purchase could be blocked, no it couldn't and we found out that $41.88 had increased to $56.85 US or $71.67 Canadian (for what we have no idea), anyhow this company has five days to invoke the charges, and if they do after we have contacted them to let them know we are not happy with the lack of service and shoddy business practices, then Visa will undertake to recoupe our loss through legal action. I have tried to email the customer service department at Suprnova and they aren't accepting any mail. I have attempted to send them mail through the site suprnova.com and mp3download.com , so far I have received no reply.

Buyer Beware, but how unfortunate that when you know you're going out of business you still allow folks to pour hard earned cash into any empty hole, and dupe them with extra charges to boot.
If you see these names BEWARE: Suprnova.org/.com/.net or mp3 download.com

Suprnova.org are not scammers

AUTHOR: John - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Thursday, January 06, 2005

Suprnova.com and Suprnova.net had nothing to do with Suprnova.org.

Suprnova.org was the original site offering free torrent downloads but the creators of suprnova.com and .net decided to con people by charging them for the same links that suprnova.org offered for free

suprnova.org have stated on their main page that .net and .com are scammers for years

This customer has been the victim of a scam but it is not the creators of suprnova.org who are the perpetrators.
