SureHealth Never paid claims Plantation Florida

I do not have health benefits through my employer so I did a search for health care insurance. I was contacted by SureHealth. The representative assured me that it was not a discount program and that it would cover doctor visits, outpatient diagnostics (lab and xrays), outpatient surgery, Emergency Room visits, hospital stays and prescriptions. Actually they pay nothing.

When I called them to inquire about the cost of a prescription, they would not tell me how much I would pay but said I would be pleasantly surprised. Well, I was surprised but not pleasantly. I found that it would cost me more to use this insurance than to pay for the prescription myself.

I needed to have an EGD and colonoscopy done. When I called to inquire about coverage, the representative did not know what these procedures were or how they were performed. I was shuffled from person to person and was told they would be covered but when the facility called, they were told these procedures were not covered. After numerous calls, I ended up not having the procedures since I could not verify that they would be covered and I could not afford to pay for them.

I was told my routine pap smear and mammogram would be covered. Again, another lie. I paid for them.

I have cancelled and have found a policy that actually pays.
