Swanky Spa Not "All About You" Woodstock Illinois

The sign outside Swanky Spa, the only full-service spa in Woodstock, reads "It's all about you." This couldn't be further from the truth. I have tried the waxing, nail and massage services and find the customer service lacking. It is not a spa, it's a regular salon. While the technicians are professional and very good, the ambiance, music and overall treatment are not at the spa level.

I inquired about what I thought was a special featured online and received a phone call a few days later telling me not to come in any more because the technicians were "uncomfortable" with me. I was probably there a total of 4 times in 2 years, never raised my voice or had an arguement of any kind.

Other than convenience, I would recommend going a bit further to Taylor Stevens in Algonquin Commons or, better yet, go in the city after work one night during the week.
