sweepstakes clearing house way to block returns Dallas Texas

I purchased a memory form mattress from Sweepstakes Clearning House.  When the mattress was received, I had to wait about a week to get someone to remove it from the box and place it on the bed.  I am 72 years old and have muscle weakness, polymyositis, and 7 bad disk in my back. 

When I got in the bed the mattress sank down in the middle and all around the side were so high I could not get over the sises and get out of bed.  With my musccles weak I could not push myself up to get out of bed.  One day it was so hard I wanted to call 911 for help but after a 15 minute struggle and rest bvefore I could get out of bed.

I called SSCH customer service and informed them I wanded to return the mattress and purchase something else with the refund.  They said the shipping would be on me.  I felt no problem. 

I called UPS. they cost $800.00.  I called Fed Ex, they cost 1200.00.  SSCH siad try DHL, they do not ship with-in USA.  USPS I could not get to answer the phone.

I again called SSCH and asked how much did it cost to ship to me.  They said $35.00. I asked if it cost $35.00 to ship to me why $800.00 to return ship.  I was told they have no control over what UPS charged.

The mattress only cost me $324.95 in all.  I asked if they could ship me a mailing lable and I pay them the $35.00.  I was told no.

I feel it is a rip off.  they put me in a situation to where I could not return the item.  why pay $800.00 so they could send me back, $ 289.95. Now i'm stuck with a mattress I can not use and a lose of $324.95.

what recourse do I have?
