I signed up for this website.  The site itself is very "busy" visually, and you need to scroll down for a long while to get to the sign-up and "continue" buttons.  Enclosed it eh terms is apparently something, which looks like a banner ad on the left side of the screen, that allegedly discloses that they will immediately charge $159 when you sign up.

I would not have signed up if this had been clear and professional and disclosed in a way that someone could understand it.  I have contacted the company for a refund, and received a 4 page PDF file that needs to be completed, "hand-printed", mailed in, and then I have to contact them 2 weeks afterwards to follow up on this for the refund to be processed.  They claim this is because their bank needs this in order to process the refund... which is funny, my bank wouldn't need that to reverse an erroneous charge.

The refund form and their general attitude clearly indicates they are not interested in processing a refund, and that they rely upon procedural gimmicks to make their money.  Enclosing the terms of the sign-up in such a "sneaky" way is unconscionable and wrong.

I don't know whether or not anyone actually receives merchandise from them, but I can say this - Stay as far away from this company as possible.

Refund Received

AUTHOR: Mike - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, October 25, 2010

I received my refund after getting Jennifer involved.  The regular customer service channel requested that I wait 14 days before following up on my mailed-in refund request.  I did so - and then after the 14 days, the regular customer service "refund" people suggested that I follow up AGAIN in yet another 12 days due to "delays."

Jennifer got this done in less than a week.  She provided good service, and I cannot complain about her help at all - but I wonder if I would have received the same level of service if I had not gone on RipoffReport.com... or if I'd be waiting for that 12 additional days to lapse before being delayed again.

For the above, I would like to thank Ripoff Report for providing this forum.
