Abslide ripoff
*0: I got the cash back!!!!
Ordered an abslide for 39.95 USD.
Got charged 214.55 USD. I live in Canada, so it's 337.33.
Haven't recieved my product yet. I cancelled it four days after I ordered it, 'cause I didn't want it. Got an email today (three weeks later) from Peter Babaian (Director of Customer Support) saying it was too late and they sent it already, that I try it out and hope I like it.

I ended up trying different variations of Peter Babaian's email address, like p.babaian@sylmark.com, or Peter.Babaian@abslide.com. I trid about 115-20 different ones. An hour after firing off these email's, I got a phone call from Sharee on behalf of Peter Babaian. We cleared it all up and she said my credit would be on my card in 7 days (contrary to their 60-90 days they said before). I couldn't believe it, but the credit was on my card in five days.
So, Sharee can be reached at 323.938.9200, at extension 173. She is very nice, and helped me out. But I suggest EVERYONE do this. Get your money back!!!!
also, I found this site to be quite useful. it's the better business bureau of southern california. AND sylmark is a member. You can find names and phone numbers of people who work there, and bug them.

This is an excerpt of their file:
The company has a pattern of complaints alleging non-delivery
of merchandise, and various billing problems and disputes. Some
complaints were closed as disputed meaning the customer was not
satisfied with the company's response.
Get to it people,
