i am so happy i found this site because it save me form wasting my time. at first i did not want to belive it than i went on to read the other ripoff reports and they were all talking about how they had been promised there own office at the end of a 6-8 week trainning program and that they would be getting 30k a year.

i am so happy that my mom and dad told me to look up the company and this is what i found. this upset me because i have been having a hard time getting a job and than i answerd the ad they had on Craigslist. i called and they told me to come in the next day. so i did that.

i got a call later that day asking me to come back on thursday for a 2nd interview and so i went. just like in the other reports they started to let ppl and i was one of the ppl asked to come back on monday. again i am happy i found this before i went back .

i am going back to tell and show people about what i have found becuase so many people have been hurt or wasted time beliveing these people. they only thing i can say is dont fall for this. these people are not worth anyones time. hope this helps some people

this company wasted my time.

AUTHOR: Waste of time - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, September 14, 2009

I can't even put the name of the company in my title because they never told us what the name of the company. When i call their office, they mumble something really quickly, when they called me i could finally understand what they were saying. I also found this job on craigslist, and usually if it sounds too good to be true, then it is. I wasted so much time and energy listening to their presentation and I actually believed them and thought this was a good opportunity. However, this wasn't the job that I called about, they posted their job for a receptionist position, I called and right away i was scheduled for an interview. Of course i'm happy, so i went to the interview, and the office did seem really chill and fun to work in, then came time for the interview. Right away she started telling about their perfume and the wholesale business.
This interview turned out to be one for a manager position, which i had no intention of becoming. Receptionist and managers have completely different skills and experience. I went along thinking it might not be so bad to become a manager. Then she gave me a time to call back if i got the second interview. I was congratulated to come back and so I did. But after this interview I went home and tried to research what the company was all about. They should have a website or something right? WRONG. I couldn't find anything about the company, the only thing i knew about the company was some billionaire named Larry.
At the second interview it was a group interview of about 20 people. They told us, be positive, smile a lot, participate, take notes. Which i did, I have about 4 to 5 pages of what is now, useless information. They introduced to us the merchandise that we would be selling, the training takes 6-8 weeks. Two of them were switching in and out during this interview, the guy seemed very professional, he cursed a few times but still very professional, which is why i believed him. The other girl, had a huge tongue piercing and a lip piercing. She seemed to know a lot about the company as well, but she didn't talk very professionally, after every sentenced it ended in "OKAAY" like a valley girl. I was also selected to join the training. I was all for it until i couldn't find anything about the company except ripoffreports. While i did believe them at first, i side with the the hundreds of stories that turned out like mine, a complete waste of time and a huge disappointment.
This reason i'm writing this is because there has been so many stories just like mine, and a handful of those who defend this company. First of all, if this company really is legit, why do they change their name to every city/state they go to? Why is it when i try to research the company all i get are ripoffreports? If this company is as glamorous and successful as they claim to be, why don't the have a website, or any site for that matter with positive things about the company? You people can defend them all you want, but if you can't even answer these questions, why do you defend them? Why do they post ads for receptionist and try to sell you something different? It's very shameful that during these hard economic times they dangle this "great opportunity" in front of us, only for it to be a lie and a waste of time.

Why is posting about your experience negative!

My question to Jim or Anthony is why is it considered negative when someone posts a report here about their experience with these distributors? Is it a coincidence that there are over 160 results on Scentura alone with people posting similar experiences? I tend to doubt that!

BTW, why do you sign you rebuttal as Anthony from Memphis when your account says Jim from San Jose? Seems a little suspicious to me!!!

Synergy - Scentura is a SCAM!!!

AUTHOR: Stop Scentura - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 04, 2008

This employee who previously posted is obviously brainwashed!!! If you don't mind being misled and lied to from the beginning then by alls means go peddle knock off perfume on the streets for a little bit of cash each week. Funny how no taxes are paid either or you don't get a real paycheck as if you worked for a real company. Hmmmm... why is that? You get paid in cash, right? ...and not taxed by the Federal or State governments? You are not even 1099'ed.

Funny how you are never told you will be out on the streets peddling until the day you do it. Why is that? Is that because if you were the the truth from the beginning, you probably wouldn't show up? Why all the music like it's a concert for the so-called second interview? You know where a group of 10-15 people are all there at the same time. How many legitimate companies actually interview more than one person at a time? Funny, how almost everyone makes it into the Branch Manager training program! Why is that? You don't even need experience and be a manager in less than two months! imagine that? Doesn't that sounds too good to be true? Well if it usually sounds too good to be true, most often it is.

What about the chance to run your own perfume store as most places promise? How many actually run a perfume store? It's probably zero since all they do is run the same ad about working with non-serious people in a crazy office, be a manager and make $50K a year or how about the receptionist, asst. manager or manager positions? Well those positions that are advertised for $12/hour or so don't exist because your trainers or managers in training do that work for cash they earn from commission based sales that no tax is paid on.

Now please tell me people if what I just typed are all lies? Is it a coincidence that there are over 160 results on ripoffreport alone about similar experiences? Are they all involved in some sort of conspiracy? Wake up people!!!

Take action and shut these people down!

Please the see following links on how to shut them down!

Stop listening to negative people!

AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, August 13, 2007

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. Every person that complains over here on this site is just going off of 2 or 3 of the same complaints from the same people. It's ridiculous to complain about a company when you have 3 people's opinions fluffed with a hundred people that say, " Oh I'm so glad I saw this! I'm not going back." or something along those lines. Hey guess what, Did you see that the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU is on this site with people complaining? It's so sad that everyone believes one person who had a bad experience with a company. Just because one person had a bad experience doesn't mean everyone else will! Quit following the herd. Some of you need to really investigate the office on your own. You will get your office. You can make a fortune doing so. Show me a hundred people who complete training and didn't get an office. You can't! You can only show me people who went through 2nd interview and just saw some random person they don't even know or even met and go on their word.

How gullible are some of you? You might find a person who was there for 3 weeks and said it didn't work. The people that don't get an office after completing training are the people who lied, cheated, stole, or did something out of line. They OF COURSE wouldn't mention that part. Like that guy from torrance, CA who said that Scentura put him in debt! What a joke!! Chris Geiger stole money and merch from the company and he was put in debt for what he stole! He's lucky he wasn't sued for that merchandise! Larry Hahn, by the way he's real you can ask about the company video if you need proof, gives every office merchandise on consignment. You don't pay for anything at all. Chris is just mad because he got caught. That's what happens when you buy all your bottles through training!

Evan and Liz are good people who WILL open you. Just don't lie and don't steal, complete training. Evan is aching to get people into their offices! If you pass this by, fine. We'll still be around. Just stop accusing people and screwing people out of an opportunity because you just believe what anyone says.
