A few days before October 26, 2008, I purchased a battery for my cell phone at The Mobile Solution Store in Fayette Mall. I had my phone with me, so the sales clerk put the battery in the phone. I told him it did not fit. He said if it did not work bring it back. I did on Oct. 26.

On that day the sales clerk I had talked to was not there. The other three young salespersons there were attempting to help me to get the right battery. The correct one was not in stock. A fourth person identifying himself as the manager, Joel Cough, rudely said, "We do not accept returns". He asked me to come back in a few days and stated, " We may have the battery in". I refused and demanded my money.

Joel walked away from me to help another customer. At the same time, I was asking the other clerks for the owner's name, the number for the headquarters, etc. I called T-Mobile, when Joel told me, it would not help me to call T-Mobile. Joel told me that I needed to wait until he finished with the other customer. I waited for over 40 minutes. Joel was so rude to me that the other clerks were apologizing for his behavior. Joel gave me a receipt and said I would get my refund in 6-8 weeks. I did not receive the refund.

In January 2009, I called the store to say I had not received my refund. The store told me to call the T-Mobile office and gave me the number. Now, I am told to call the very folks that could not help me on October 26, 2008. I called. The customer service person was very helpful. When she called the store they did not have a record of the above transaction. The customer service person told me to send all the information I had to the headquarters.I did. A few days later, I received a call that I would receive my refund in seven to ten days.

T-Mobile Solution Corporation has authorized these folks to sell their products. Many of these companies are foreign corporations registered in your state with the Secretary of State. It is always a great idea to send copies of your complaint to the registered agent who is a local company.

I also sent letters to the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General's Office, Division of Consumer Complaints and anyone else I can think of to send a copy of my letter to.

I have been during business with T-Mobile Wireless for a long time. They are a great company. The mobile solution stores in large and small malls are not a good place to purchase your cellphone needs. Always go to a T-Mobile store, not The Mobile Solution store.

I also registered a complaint against Joel Cough. He never intended for me to get a refund. He had the battery and my money. Today, 2-4-2009. I called
the Mobile Solution store in Fayette Mall and asked for Joel. I was told that he now works for The Mobile Solution store in Louisville, Kentucky. Those of you living in Louisville, watch out for Joel Cough or stay out of Mobile Solution store which by name is a joke. Let's put them out of business.
