On or about March 3, 2007 I went to Touchtell Wireless Edge a kiosk in the commons mall in Federal Way Washington. They are T-mobile agents / dealer ID No: 1605126. I purchased two phones and deposited over $800.00 USD security deposit. I purchased additional services such as insurance and unlimited texting for my daughters cell number only. Our cell Numbers are: 253-(((REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES))) My IMEI # is: 3548**** and my daughter's IMEI #3545**** and we signed a 24 months contract.

Our very 1st bill was for the amount of $731.08 This did not look right so I called customer care to send me an itemized billing statement showing every call or text that was made to justify the charge. To my amazement, I discovered that my cell number contained outrageous charges for " texting " that I never made and there were no telephone numbers listed on the bill showing who I texted and furthermore the bill shows that I texted every minute 24 hours per day from the 15th - 28th of unjustified charges for texting.

They, T-Mobile could not justify the charges and told me that the sim card does not lie when I told them that maybe the sim card might be defective which they denied the possibility of such a thing yet they cannot account for the charges and refused to resolve the issue telling me that I have to pay the $731.08

I refused to pay for charges that they cannot proof themselves and I told them that if they can show me and prove to me that I made all those texting by showing me all the numbers that I texted then I will pay for it. They told me that they cannot do that. I then told them since they cannot account for the ridiculous charges then to deduct all those charges and I will pay for all the services that I did and that they can see before them. They still refused. They terminated my service and referred me to a collection agency and took all my deposit without any just cause.

Also, I was never paid the Rebate that was due me even after I called and complained and they even told me that it was " in the mail " and after weeks of waiting I called again and they told me that the reason I did not get my Rebate is because I sent them the wrong ID number. I went to the agent who sold me the phone and they called to verify the number only to find out that I did send them the correct ID number so they apologized and told us that my Rebate will be sent immediately the next day.

It's been several months and the only thing I got was a letter telling me they will not pay my rebate due to my service being terminated by T-mobile. When I went to the authorized dealer, they told me that they could not do anything because it was in collections. When it was not in collections they could not help me and when it is in collections they still could not help me.

T-mobile to my knowledge has been scamming customers with fraudulent charges as even my friend was sent an $800.00 plus first month's bill for something that T-mobile employees cannot account for. Now, he just found out that they shut off his phone and put his number to another person with the same name and that they claimed that they never shut off his service all the while the other person was getting the service and not paying for it as to why my friends bill keeps getting higher.

John, I too have been scammed like this by T-Mobile

AUTHOR: Constance - (U.S.A.)

I have a posting here about this same thing, you might want to read it. We were charged almost $1000 for mainly incoming texting, and they can't tell us who sent it, we had sometimes what amounted to multiple text messages ( as many as five) sent in the matter of one minute, text messages sent from the phone that they were being sent to, you name it. I also REFUSE to pay them until they can document the charges ( which they either can't but more likely WON'T).

I have filed complaints wherever I could, Attorney General in my state and the state T-Mobile was billing me from, FTC, etc. They have their cronies, ER Solutions calling my house numerous times a day even though they have been sent a cease and desist, and while their calls show up on the caller ID as 800 Service, the phone numbers belong to ER Solutions. Now I get a letter telling me that the text messages were not made from the phone we had shut off so that no more text messages could be made to it ( and charged early termination fee) now their story is they were made to/ from one of the other phones we had, which they shut off and charged a second termination fee ( we only had one phone under contract). Where do they get off?

These people are as low as they get.
